This criticism is highly unfair to Trump and dishonest.

Trump pushed to pass a repeal of Obamacare. It passed the House and lost in the Senate by 1 vote—that of John McCain.

And that is exactly why Trump is ineffective

He made John McCain an enemy instead of an ally

McCain ran on repealing Obamacare. Personal differences shouldn’t have mattered.

Isn't this how our government works? If his people skills were a little better there may have been a different outcome. We, the unwashed masses don't make the big time decisions. People like McCain did.

Maybe he didn't like the proposed replacement

Maybe he had a personal difference with Trump...and I agree that shouldn't matter. But the fact is sometimes it does matter. And no one is better at burning bridges than Trump

Which is why he'll be even more worthless this time around

It's fair criticism.

Nowhere in the job description for POTUS does it say everything will be easy or you'll never have to persuade people that have different motivations/views than you.

It was a straight repeal of the legislation. The mental gymnastics some of you use to criticize Trump and defend the RINOs never ceases to amaze me.

The irony of posting this in defense of Trump.

Absolutely not.

The man campaigned on it, promised it

He ran on a repeal and replacement

If it was just a repeal I can see why he didn't get the support he wanted

There is one Trump. And how many RINOs (as you call them) in congress? How, in the future, will Trump deal with these RINOs?
By the way, these RINOs ran for office and won. Does that count for anything?

Nah, it’s entirely unfair criticism, but of course you know that. Trump’s first 2 years in office were sabotaged by the Republican establishment.

His plan will be the best plan you have ever seen. If he doesn’t replace with the Trump plan, there will be a disaster. A disaster like no one has ever seen.

McCain was a better man than Trump. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool

You think it's an unfair to expect POTUS to be able to lead his own party?
