It’s a down year in the state. LSU recruiting always has hinged on the in state talent. The next two years we will have better ranked classes bc there will be more highly ranked Louisiana players.

This stuff is said every year. Then some top players leave the state that LSU needs. Then we get killed in the trenches.
Mathieu ended up being a 4 star on some sites after he blew up at a Tennessee camp.
For every 1 Justin Jefferson you get about 10 Jarret Fobbs that did nothing.

Haha, only been following recruiting for a couple years I see.
The ones that only look at stars are wrong. The ones that bring up Matthieu, Hester, and Jefferson are wrong.
5 stars will be busts. 3 stars will be all Americans. We have 17 4 stars and you can absolutely build a championship team with that.

I see. So you're moving the goalposts after being called out for not understanding how the rankings work. Earlier you stated that LSU's On3 class rank is only based on signing more players than other teams.
Now you're using a number that punishes LSU for signing more, including the #2 kicker in the country.
Just stop.

I’ve been following lsu recruiting for 20 years. I picked 2020 bc it’s been consistently mid road sec since then and it’s showing on the field.

We have 2 5 stars they have ranked as 4. Durham and Green. Believe me they at 5 star. We have 2 LBers lowly rated that are high, high 4 stars in Keys and Atkins. One is up from POY in Texas and the other was defensive MVP in state championship game. PJ Woodland was POY in Mississippi, you know the per capita NFL leader with Louisana.
