You can’t wait to shite on BK, but you defended Orgeron when he lost to Troy

I would take Etling 2.0 as a backup

All things considered I like the pick up. He will push Nuss in ways Collins can't at this point.

If nothing else give Sloan the benefit of the doubt here. He has earned it. Personally, I think Swann is a solid QB.

Swann is a solid QB. I'm in Nashville and have seen him. He will Give Nuss a stiff challenge.

He’s not coming to start. He’s coming in as an experienced backup so we don’t have to throw Collins out there before he’s ready if Nuss gets hurt.

Just hard to believe that’s the case. Why would any QB go somewhere to not play? It seems more likely he or the staff think he can compete with Nuss not just back him up.
Nothing I’ve seen of Nuss would make me think he’s a lock to start. And we already have backup QBs. So….
Time will tell.

He looks kind of Burrowesque.

If this is the case, we are fricked next year.

You mean the true freshman Collins with no college experience?

And is bigger and better. Swann started double digit games against sec defenses as a freshman and sophomore. He's a great addition!

Sure, I’m really glad to have a quality backup for Nuss. It wouldn’t be good to have to throw Collins out there if Nuss got hurt next year.

He may very well excel here, but the 33 QBR aint promising

He’s not brought here to excel, (though with coaching and talent he’ll improve plenty).

He’s insurance in case Nuss gets hurt.

He’s competition to start. It will be a legit battle imo, but yes Nuss has advantages having been here.

Mr. Swann does have a quick release. If he gets protection and I know he will with our OL in tact next year. He will put up some numbers. He had a bad OL at Vandy. He gets behind an OL like LSU he will good.
