He’s not coming to start. He’s coming in as an experienced backup so we don’t have to throw Collins out there before he’s ready if Nuss gets hurt.

And he’s actually been decent in a bad offense.

LSU wanted a player that could be an SEC starter if Nuss gets hurt and they got a player that has started 5 games in the SEC.

I would say that's a win.

He's ranked ahead of MJ Morris, Tylen Green and Ty Thompson, and is probably the highest ranked QB in the portal that likely won't be the starter next year for his new team.

He’s not coming in to be a backup either. They’ll have a completion, that is if Nuss doesn’t run & transfer

This makes you seem as petty as the Nuss supporters you are always arguing with.

And I agree, it will be an open competition. Otherwise, what is the point.

I think you meant competition if that’s what you want to call it, but Nuss has been in the system for 2 years now. You think he won’t have a massive advantage over a slightly above average QB who doesn’t even know Denbrock’s offense?
