Spent a couple of years playing in a Microsoft Combat Flight simulator squad. The squad admission test was to fly under the Eifel Tower inverted. We were off and on champions in the regular playoffs.

Weather would have a lot to do with that

That it would. I was on a plane to Boston in a rain storm with a cross wind. Leaving the plane, I saw the pilot in the cockpit and he was shaken.

One of these is going to end badly LOL...

Just maintain proper airspeed until you're ready to cut the power, but you'll use a whole lot more runway if you go in with your flaps up. However, this can change due to wind velocity.

When I took my flight test for my pilot's license the tester made me land on the wrong runway in 30 mph winds. I almost ended up in a ditch, and this was a Cessna not a huge jet.

Oh next he made me cover my eyes and he put the plane in a nosedive after doing a loop. I didn't even know a Cessna could do that. It's amazing to me that I didn't crash the plane that day.

Oh, and I passed, I guess because I didn't kill us, but flying a plane is 10 times more complicated than driving a car.

The determining factor is do we have enough fuel to remain flying long enough for me to watch the relevant YouTube video 7 times prior to attempting the landing.

If no one has flying experience I would step up. I’d land the plane or die trying.

As long as you are not camping in the left lane as you slow down for your descent, you should be good. Now, if they throw one of those zipper merges at me...

I may be able to do it, but the aircraft will no longer be useable. If it is, the pilot's seat will have to be changed.

Let this be your litmus test. If you can’t back your truck into a parking spot without having to pull forward and adjust, you can’t land a fricking airplane.

Depends on the airplane, tbh.

Land? Sure. Without hurting someone? Maybe. Without damage to the aircraft? Highly unlikely for most airline transport category aircraft, IMO.

Some easier than others.

757? No chance.

I have bad news for you if you raise the flaps on approach.

Landing? Probably.

Decelerating and stopping the plane safely? I honestly don't know
