There is no doubt that man is releasing more CO2 into the atmosphere. The deal is this additional CO2 DOES NOT correlate with warmer global temperatures. In fact the temperature data is illustrative of more temperate climate. That is lower highs and higher lows.
This makes sense from the greening effect that CO2 has on a global scale. Even NASA agrees with the current global effect that CO2 currently has on the planet. With more greening you have more plant photosynthesis which leads to more atmospheric water vapor.
To use a mechanical analogy water is the great atmospheric mass-damper system. It's the only atmospheric constituent that goes through all three common phases changes thus utilizing the sun's energy preventing temperature extremes on earth. The more water in the atmosphere the more temperate the climate. A perfect example of this behavior is Phoenix, AZ and Huntsville, AL. Both cities on the same latitude, receive the exact same amount of solar radiation, and both at similar elevations. The only difference between the two cities is water vapor concentrations at their respective locations. Phoenix with low water vapor concentrations has extreme temperature variations. Huntsville, not so much.
Furthermore the period of time during earth's geologic history with the biggest expansion of life came when CO2 concentrations were more than 10 time current levels. I have seen medical studies that indicate that increasing CO2 concentrations sets up higher CO2-O2 cell wall gradient and animals that live via O2 respiration obtain better O2 absorption when CO2 concentrations are more elevated than the current 400 ppm. This may be the reason for the massive expansion of life on earth during the Precambrian period. Of course there is a point of diminishing returns when CO2 levels are too high and become dangerous to life (but that can be said of any atmospheric constituent).

Also, the people pushing this the most tell you not to worry about their carbon footprint and live on the coast.

My position is that my gas stove isnt doing anything and neither is my overall carbon footprint.
For something to actually happen every single poerson on earth will have to change course. One big collective.
Thats not happening. Your liberal elites arent giving anything up.
So the rest of us shouldnt have to suffer.

When I was about 8-9 years old, I was with my Dad and we made a jet fuel delivery in these containers Cousteau wanted the fuel in.
Delivered it to THE “CALYPSO” at the NOLA CITY FRONT DOCKS, under the GNO.
Looking back, that was a very dangerous ride with Jet Fuel in the back
Of my Dad’s Van, highly illegal these days I’m sure, this was back in the 80’s though.
Jacques Cousteau, himself, gave me and my Dad a personal tour of his infamous boat. I’ll never forget that day! Also remember watching his shows on TV with my pawpaw growing up, used to love National Geographic and History Channel, learned a ton over the years.

How long have humans been around?

It is every other sentence. Just wears me down till I turn it off. Same with the Nat Geo shows. Everyone of them just keeps it going

Exactly, and it is quantifiable. That is why I said "to use a mechanical analogy water is the great atmospheric mass-damper system" in my previous post.
And to quantify water as an atmospheric buffer, it's ability to absorb energy and not change a degree is big compared to other atmospheric constituents.
For example it takes 4200 joules of solar energy to move water one degree C where it takes 700 joules of solar energy to move air one degree. Air without water vapor cools and heats compared to air with water vapor.
Climates with more water vapor are more temperate. See the tropics for warm temperate climates. See the Pacific coast for cool temperate climates. See the middle of landmasses for intemperate climates.

Honestly the climate has always changed so I don't have a problem with them pointing out that it is currently changing. We have hard evidence of changes in animals migratory patterns and such

Monty Python had him pegged 50 years ago in one of their last BBC shows. See: “The Walking Tree of Dahomey”.
