Hey reddy, are you familiar with the grievance studies affair? Look into it. Fake “science journals” are all too ready to publish fake “scientific studies” , with fake “peer reviews”, as long as they comport with the leftist narratives.
Are you aware of the Harvard and Stanford scandals (just to name two) from just this past year of prominent “scientists” caught fabricating data on seminal published articles?
The left abhors real science, especially when it disagrees with their narrative. That is all!

No serious person doubts the existence of gender dysphoria (that would be us in the right). It’s the left who is actively attacking “gender dysphoria” as a concept.
“Gender ideology” claims that there is no “dysphoria”, no misapprehension by a person about their “gender”. If a biological man thinks he is a woman, they say the person IS a woman, AND you MUST accept it, and AFFIRM it!

Liberals were in lockstep over all this because they put their politics over what little common sense they may have. There was also that time when they changed the definition of recession on Wikipedia 3 days after it was announced we had just had our 2nd consecutive quarter of negative economic growth.
Not saying there aren’t conservatives who politicize stuff too, but the libs are way worse… they literally just went with all of this like a bunch of stupid goldfish. As long as a Democrat says it, they believe it. If a Republican says it (like when Trump said he didn’t care about Ukraine or Russia winning, just that he wanted everyone to stop dying) it’s controversial. THAT’S politicizing.

At some point, they'll need to learn that trust in what they are told is not always a good thing, anyway.
Why not use a great nature series to bring that point home?
You can also point out the ridiculous sound effects added for entertainment value. Like the crunching sounds of coral or plants moving in time-lapse photography. Or a chameleon eating a bug to the soundtrack of a horse eating hay.
But nonetheless, watch it with the kids. They will learn volumes.
