If we played like crap offensively for 2 games, like FSU has, yes. We, unfortunately, would deserve to be left out. If, however, FSU had shown any aptitude on offense the past 2 weeks, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

As has been said numerous times on this board. Ohio State in 2014 lost their starting and 2nd string QB’s and smoked Alabama in the playoff game and won the championship game with 3rd team QB.
Problem is we saw FSU 2nd & 3rd String play. They would've been better of their starter got hurt last night & the drop off was unknown.

1. Over the last 2 weeks FSU showed they could find ways to win despite injuries
2. The QB who played last night will not be the one starting in the playoffs.
3. Travis’ backup will have a month to prepare for the playoff game, so I would expect him to look a lot better than he did in his first start on short notice.

Your argument is flawed and incomparable to FSU's current situation.
1) Cardale Jones started and played in the Big 10 Championship against Wisconsin that year, where OSU smoked Wisconsin 59-0. He proved the OSU offense could move with him at QB BEFORE the CFP Committee had to select. FSU has shown their 2 QBs cannot move their offense effectively. They will get smoked in the CFP.
2) OSU didn't smoke Bama in 2014. They won by 7. That is not smoking anyone.
Be subjective, not irrational. Stick to the facts, please.

Not factual at all. They only won by 7. Get your facts straight. And, Cardale proved he could run the OSU offense in the Big 10 Championship. FSU's QBs have not done that.

I’d put fsu at 3. They are undefeated and were ranked ahead to begin the weekend. Beat a higher ranked team.

That’s not apples to apples. Beating Louisville and beating Georgia are completely different.

I don’t think the committee would let fsu in anyways the ratings of that game would be completely down. It’s all about the money

If you go with the deserve standard FSU should be #3, also if I'm a member of that undefeated UCF team I'd be pissed.
If it's best 4 teams, FSU is out.
