At a price of 13k, I would buy it without a doubt.

Kind of want. That's a truck. Not a fashion/social statement.

Mount a M240 in the back on a pintle mount and it would be like a Fischer- Price "my first technical"

Hell yeah! 6" lift, 35"s, and diesel please.
Posted on 12/1/23 at 11:11 pm to WildcatMike
Thats cheaper than a side by side so yes

Exactly. 2.4 diesel and a 50cal? What's not to like?
Posted on 12/2/23 at 4:52 am to WildcatMike
Yes I would. Give me a stick shift and I'm good
Posted on 12/2/23 at 5:23 am to WildcatMike
Everyone would drive it, it's whether or not you would buy it.

Sure and probably as a work truck where they are used in that way, as opposed to mall cruisers, in most overseas countries. Toyota small trucks in past were very reliable and easily maintained vehicles. Most every manufacturer makes a full-size luxury truck and this fills a gap in the market.

It looks like a modern day version of the old Toyota trucks from middle 1980’s. I would change the bed to a 1980’s bed. Simple less things to go wrong.
Have the Option to get it in a manual transmission, so gen z thugs could not steal it.

The base price of the truck model is suggested around $13,000.
Hell yes I would

If they let me reasonably configure a barebones, 4x4, 4 cylinder diesel, small Hilux-based truck for under $20k, absofrickinglutely I would drive it.
I need 2 seats, a/c and a radio for my daily commute and occasional pickup needs.

If they cleaned up the appearance just a little bit but kept the inside and mechanics basic, hell yes. There is a huge market for cheap, reliable trucks that don’t look like the Starship Enterprise inside and can actually fit in a garage.

Looks like a good ranch/farm truck, but wouldn’t drive it on normal streets and certainly not the highway.

Solid responses in this thread so far but I would disagree with the tiny truck nuts size. I would go the opposite direction with the biggest set out there made out of metal dragging the asphalt and shooting sparks out the back end of that truck.
Too be fair, that idiot in California made it illegal for old farts like me to be driving one of these around town today.

That's all the truck that most people need.
