Trump, Who Destroyed Roe,

As an obvious intellectual heavyweight, you should find it rudimentary to explain to us exactly how it is that Trump "destroyed RvW"?

I'm interested in your response, genuinely.

Trumps moderation on abortion is one of his strengths nationally.

You are correct.

Remember that all Trump did was sign off on the SCOTUS nominees McConnell sent him. He can't take credit for any of them.

The SCOTUS rightfully overturned Roe v Wade and sent the decisions on abortion back to the states.

Dems believe in birthday abortion. That's the end of the issue they need to be pounded with.

He’s threaded the needle on this issue perfectly.

Abortion on demand is an immoral concept. The pro abortion nuts have seized upon rare instances where it is excusable to justify abortion on demand.

My suggestions:

1-Birth Control pills available over the counter. The FDA could do this.

2- The prolife movement needs to enshrine the rape / life of the mother into law in all 50 states - bc currently the exceptions have eaten the rule. (This is Trump’s point). Message that. Not showing pictures of fetuses. It’s not convincing anyone that isn’t already convinced.

3-jail time for deadbeat dads calculated by the time it takes for his youngest love child to attain the age of majority.

4-welfare restrictions which require marriage for parents in order to obtain certain benefits. Exception - Medicaid. If we have to be stuck with a welfare state, we may as well use it to incentivize healthy behaviors

Overturning Roe v Wade is a moderate position.

The problem with abortion is that it is argued at the extremes. Either absolutely no restrictions or Absolutely no abortion are the two extremes.

The issue will never be resolved as long as the choices are binary. If they codify it with federal legislation, it will have to be "moderate".

Trump does not care about abortion. In fact, I'll bet he's paid for a few.

This times a million. In order to get any real legislation one way or the other on abortion RvW had to go.

I am sure that Trump is telling his abortion loving friends he had no choice but to sign off on McConnell's picks for SCOTUS which is true

Abortion is not a federal issue. Trump is a Florida voter so he can vote on Florida abortion issues.

Abortion cannot be federalized by the president. So what is the priblem?

constitutionally what is not in the constitution is to be left up to the states, what the feds have to do is sway the states to be uniform, appoint judges and vote your reps.the problem behind all this is the sinister market for baby parts

Why? There is zero need for uniformity amongst the States on matters involving State authority.

The problem is that a portion of the GOP doesn’t actually think it should be a State issue….they just said that to undermine Roe. That segment is the problem.

Dobbs is good law. The GOP needs to respect that and leave the issue fricking alone. Yes, the majority of places are going to enshrine some sort of right to an abortion—that’s what the population wants. Deal with it.

Anyone over age 50 is getting a rude awakening on how destructive the current educational system is to the future of the constitutional republic....I'll assume people under age 50 already knows the educational system has been completely infested with cultural Marxists .
