Ironic because the modern Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s existence is centered around guilting Massachusetts liberals into giving the tribe valuable land in places like Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard.
They have also been attempting to build a casino for over a decade, but their leaders keep getting arrested for corruption. They seem to have given up on that plan, now just want the government to give them money for land they claim has been stolen.
