Miss St can do soooo much better than Lebby. How do you rule Chadwell out but hire a guy that’s been an average coordinator and never a head coach?

Lane ran that offense and everyone said Lebby was a puppet. OU wants him gone.

Run’s Heupel’s offense and the jury is far from in as to whether it will be ultimately successful in the SEC

What a dumb comment. So a 2nd place SEC finish, finishing ranked 6th in the country and finishing with the #1 total offense in the entire country and you’re not sure if it can be successful.? Not sure what to tell you brother.

Yes, having a good quarterback is important. Not sure what your point is.

Why on earth would Beamer leave for Mississippi St?

A-to get a job before y'all fire him
B-his wife is from Starkville
C-He knows our AD from their time at Oklahoma and are apparently pretty tight
D-He started his coaching career at State from 04-06
E- We don't want your shitty arse coach. If for some reason Beamer was hired there would be a fan revolt the likes of when Tennessee tried to hire Schiano.

State and Beamer is just click-bait speculation at this point. Also, my apologies again for just being another Ole Miss fan talking down the State job when I said that Chadwell turned it down last week.

State needs to suck up their pride and bring Mullen Back. Makes way too much sense.

Looking like Lebby may be announced sooner rather than later.

Think it's 4 year, 24m. So $6m a year.

We aren't going after Beamer. Beamer was tagged in that photo because his family owns that place.

Yep. Can’t do more than a 4 year contract here in the great state of Mississippi

6m? If we were willing to do that much I’d figure we would do better than Lebby

He may be a good hire but I feel it’s a risky hire for 6m. 6m should get a proven head coach

He's making $5.7 at Oklahoma. Alabama, LSU and A&M have screwed it up for everyone. Every coaching hire is a gamble but we are in high stakes poker level now.

His total contract is 5.7. he's at 1.9 a year at Oklahoma.

$6m a year does seem steep for a coordinator with no HC experience. Wonder if it's incentives up to $6m. They offered Chadwell $6.5m from what I was told. I knew State would have to overpay for a sitting coach but not for a coordinator.

kiffin had no say in the offense at ole miss while lebby was there. same with kendal at fau. it was written in their contracts. not saying kiffin can’t coach offense, because he can. but it didn’t happen with lebby.

I’ll have to go back and see but we somehow got Kiffin a 6 year extension last year.
