New Jan 6 Tapes: They Lied to Us, w/ Darren Beattie (runs Revolver News)

Youtube video about 20 min

Summary - Glenn speaks with Darren Beattie who runs Revolver News. They point out what many already know about Jan 6 but there are some things people may not know - Ray Epps featured in a NY Times documentary about Jan6 to portray the event as a 'day of rage'. Epps is represented by a lawyer connected to David Brock (Media Matters), who works at Perkins Coie (sp?), and it's highly unlikely Epps could afford their services, so this brings forth additional questions about Epps and his connections. Oh yeah, Epps was the former head of the Arizona chapter of the Oath Keepers, so there's even more questions to ponder there as well.

The more that comes out, the more it seems appropriate to issue pardons to Jan6 defendants.

Nov 21, 2023

Greenwald - some video just released shows people coming into the Capitol without any violence at all. What does it say that it took almost 3 years to get this much video out?

Beattie - Severe reluctance to provide us with anything that contradicts the narrative that Jan 6 exceeds even 9/11, and Biden even compared it to the Civil War. That narrative is used as a pretext to further the national security state against the People. Revolver News was at the forefront of challenging this narrative. People know the crowd was provoked. The Capitol Police opened the doors in many instances. This video allows the public to understand what happened. There should still be more video coming out.

Greenwald - Usually one of the duties of the media is to insist on transparency. But that didn't really happen. Why do you think that is?

Beattie - NY Times did a documentary, cherry picked scenes, called "January 6, Day of Rage", and this featured Ray Epps, and they thought his participation was so egregious that they showed him multiple times in order to portray the severity of the event.

Greenwald - What do these new clips show us regarding the narrative that we've all been fed?

Beattie - This reinforces that the overwhelming majority of cases were people that were just let in, did not destroy property or assault officers and just went with the flow with what must have been a very surreal experience. Then they're out in five minutes, next thing they know they are treated like Osama Bin Laden. When the crowd goes in and the cops are not opposing it, you don't register the fact you are putting yourself in the position of a future domestic terrorist and then your life is ruined. Outside footage shows provocative actions by the Capitol Police and much of the violent behavior seems to have been precipitated by the police.

Greenwald - Only a small percentage were charged with using violence. People are convicted of non-violent crimes and going to prison for years and it's unbelievable that left liberals cheer this on, given the precedence this creates.

Let's talk about Ray Epps. He seems to have played a very central role. He was really provoking people to storm the capitol. Others went to prison and he never did, and now he is suing people for accusing him of being affiliated with the government. Does the fact that he's finally been charged settle any questions about him?

Beattie - No not at all. You can't wait two years and then slap him with a misdemeanor charge that does not align at all with how others got treated. The manner of prosecutorial discretion is very telling. Early on the guy in charge of the prosecutions said they were going after the conspicuous cases. Ray Epps was the most visible and among the first put on the most wanted list. NY Times chose Epps for a reason.

He was the former head of the Arizona Oath Keepers, the most demonized group other than the Proud Boys. Not only did they wait two years, and warn him about it, while others got the SWAT treatment, this charge fits in well with the defamation suits he's filing.

So his charging just shows the desperation of the regime.

Guess who the lawyer is for Ray Epps in the defamation cases? It'd David Brock, or a lawyer that worked for him (from Media Matters). This lawyer is from Perkins Coie (sp?).

Greenwald - This firm is extremely expensive so it's hard to believe Epps is able to pay for their services.

God bless Julian Assange, the Jan 6 rally goers who were entrapped, and everyone else who is a political prisoner of perhaps the most evil country on the face of the earth

I don't think anyone would argue that the rally goers had a right to be there but Ray Charles could have seen how this was going to go down.

I remember making the comment before J6 that it was probably a bad idea to go there and be around the Capital at that time because you could tell the rhetoric coming out of the democrats was getting pretty violent and hateful towards anyone questioning the election. Of course I was met here by scowels and razzing about how it was their right and no one can stop you from exercising your right to march peacefully in protest.

I responded just because you can doesn't mean you should especially in a time when the opposition seems to me looking for a reason to escalate their rhetoric. Of course that was met with more of the same and some saying we're not cowards.

People think because the country has Constitution the citizens are protected under that Constitution but in reality it's a crap shoot as to how the law will be applied and justice handed out. It's the reality of what this country has become. Just consider the summer BLM/Antifa riots to the J6 march and eventual protest. Lady Justice is definitely not blind.

It is old news to those that look for the information but it is new news to those that need to hear it from a MSM source. They fear being labeled a “conspiracy theorist” so they have to wait until it is accepted to believe and be mad about. It is awful but it’s the world we live in. Accept it and let’s hope this gets the political prisoners out of jail.

The David Brock connection was new to me. I had not previously heard his name brought up with regard to Epps.

Liberals

They desperately need J6 to be the worst day in American history and they don’t want anything getting out that contradicts that narrative.

This is something that anyone opposing the “establishment” has yet to figure out. You CAN NOT get away with the same thing the left does and need to be very diligent and purposeful in everything you do….politicians and citizens alike. Keep your head on a swivel and don’t cross the line.

If I was there on Jan 6 there’s no way I’m going to or in the capital.

The most telling video evidence is how it all started. You had a few thousand protestors in a crowded area and some rogue capital police officers "decided" to agitate the crowd of people including kids by shooting flash bombs into the middle of the crowd. What you think will happen..

Trump knew full well after Russiagate and the Ukraine impeachment how corrupt the intel agencies are. He should have called off the election challenges a few weeks before J6. It was reckless and stupid to keep going.

But, when 50 Secret Service members get hurt by lefty goons outside the White House, that's mostly peaceful, right?

Cowards. These punks don't even have the conviction to stand up and explain WHY their opinions are the way they are. Because they feel they shouldn't NEED to explain themselves. Especially to degenerate deplorables like Trump supporters.

The c*nts feel it's beneath them to engage in any level of debate. F them.

Sobering to have to even contemplate this. I'd like to believe that we (many) are as good as we are evil.

The philosophical/theological clash between the idea (DEI) of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is prophetically Biblical as in the 'end time' there will be "war in Heaven and on Earth". This is an argument to establish absolutes re ultimate Truth, and whether or not God (assuming such exists) is justified in booting Lucifer and his Angels from their heavenly estate, for desiring to be worshipped as God(s). DEI is BS, in some instances.

IMO, it seems that the definitive crux of the whole issue is whether or why God created a limited version of 'Self' ("children of God") that would be obviously and inevitably prone to evil from the get-go, as said limitations would guarantee such. The only rational answer is that God created Humanity for their OWN glory and not His; I.e., as an act of pure Love as opposed to any need to be worshipped. Worship being related to Ego, of the which God would obviously not need or even be capable of (as a Singular Whole Entity), albeit Lucifer ran with as an inferior being amongst the many. Therein lies Lucifer's gripe, and Its life mission to destroy the loving Children of God to get back at God's judgment on 'It/Him'.

I truly look forward to the day that Jesus/Truth takes the helm for those who embrace Love over Ego (self-worship/exaltation as related to the family of God) and that the kind of adventure that a truly united Humanity that - given the Power of a virtually unlimited Knowledge - we could enjoy. Our fondest and most beautiful dreams or total freedom ("ye shall know the Truth and it shall make you free") for a life on this miraculously beautiful Earth and the infinite Universe would be our playground. I pray that the Good Lord indeed comes quick to claim His Own and bind in Hell the Evil which defiles the minds of the best in our Nation. It will be ugly and painful, but we'll be better people for it.

Happy Thanksgiving. It won't be the same this time next year.
