I don’t think Kyren Lacy or Chris Hilton have it in them. Someone from the transfer portal or one of the incoming high school guys needs to step up like Kayshon Boutte did his freshman year.

Definitely wouldn’t be surprised if Hilton takes a giant leap and becomes the WR1. He has it in him. Barring any injuries of course.

Lacy has shown flashes. I also think Hilton will improve.

Shelton Sampson or Jalen Brown. Sampson is a big target and Brown is a speedster

Lacy drops too many passes. I’m hoping Shelton Sampson will step up.

Nobody's gonna name-drop Landon Ibieta?

Need sprinters, so Nuss can throw that deep ball out there

Or send in a jumbo formation with 3 TEs, RB, and only 1 WR. Then shift into an empty backfield. Mismatches all over.

Might be one of LSU's best TE groups ever. Taylor, Pimpton, Markway, and the to-be freshman Green who will be the 2nd highest rated TE recruit in LSU history.

If you want speed, put Anderson (10.77), Hilton (10.85), Brown (10.6), and Parker (10.89) in at the same time. 4 guys that all ran the 100m sub 10.9 seconds in high school.

I think Brown is going to be the guy next year. Been high on him since seeing him dominate the high School all-star practices and game.

Let’s get Lacy to learn how to catch before bashing his involvement

Ibieta takes a prominent role IMO

That's important, but first you need the guy who catches everything thrown his way so you can move the chains. The speedsters are gravy.

Case in point, 2019. Everyone remembers Chase and his 21+ yd per catch average, and all the big plays. They tend to forget Jefferson had 111 catches, over 20 more than Chase (and more than double what Marshall, Moss or CEH had).

This becomes more important, when you consider Nussmeier isn't going to run for 80+ yds a game like Daniels. When he drops back, he's going to throw it; and we need someone to consistently catch it if we want to be successful.

If Lacy could become sure-handed, he's the obvious choice, because he's such a big dude.
