Just bet two Aggies $100 each that we score 30

They are convinced that they are the best defense we have faced and that they are going to shut us down … LOL
The only time we scored under 30 was on the road at Bama without the best player in CFB for the last quarter.

FYI- LSU-Opponents have covered the over in its last 15 games! O/U in the A&M game is going to be about 66-68...LSU 52- Faggies 35! Yes we will score over 30 and so will they!

This seems unlikely. Ole Miss went for 518 yards and put up 38 points. LSU has at least that in them. Now, can the defense keep A&M under 38? Big question.

Ole Miss scored 38 on them and Miami scored 48 on them. They have a good D, but it's not great. aTm has the 31st scoring D. Auburn is 32nd. We scored a series high of 48 points against Auburn.
Now that I'm thinking about it, we scored a series high against UF with 52 as well. I feel strongly that we would have scored another 1-2 times against Bama if Jayden had not been knocked out for the whole quarter. Aggies must love giving money away.

Are you comparing #5 undefeated FSU to 6-4 aTm who has an interim head coach?
Let's look at scoring defense because aTm has a good one.
Scoring Defense of LSU's opponents
#15 Florida St. allows 17.3 PPG - LSU scored 24, they allowed 16.6 against other teams so LSU scored 7.4 better than their average
#17 Alabama allows 18.1 PPG - LSU scored 28, they allowed 17 against other teams so LSU scored 11 better than their average
#32 Auburn allows 20.5 PPG - LSU scored 48, they allowed 17.4 against other teams so LSU scored 30.6 better than their average
#41 Army allows 22.1 PPG - LSU scored 62, they allowed 17.7 against other teams so LSU scored 44.3 better than their average
#42 Mizzou allows 22.3 PPG - LSU scored 49, they allowed 19.3 against other teams so LSU scored 29.7 better than their average
#31 aTm allows 20.4 PPG -
If you take LSU out of the equation those 5 teams all have better scoring defenses than aTm. Auburn is about even with LSU included as part of the average.

#59 Ole Miss allows 25.2 PPG - LSU scored 55, they allowed 21.9 against other teams so LSU scored 33.1 better than their average
#69 Arkansas allows 26.7 PPG - LSU scored 32, they allowed 26.1 against other teams so LSU scored 5.9 better than their average
#75 Florida allows 27.4 PPG - LSU scored 52, they allowed 24.7 against other teams so LSU scored 27.3 better than their average
#83 Mississippi St. allows 28.2 PPG - LSU scored 41, they allowed 26.8 against other teams so LSU scored 14.2 better than their average.
Of course, every game is different but the overwhelming evidence points to LSU exceeding 30 points scored vs aTM.

A&M has the #12 total defense in the country which is the best LSU will face this season.
A deeper dive:
#30 Scoring defense - 3rd best
#11 Third down defense - 2nd best
#17 rushing defense - best
#20 passing yards allowed - best
#54 Passing efficiency - 4th best
#41 Red zone defense - 4th best
#1 Sacks - best
By no means do I think A&M is going to shut down LSU's offense. LSU was on pace to put around 40 at Bama had JD not gotten hurt. That was on the road and the only defense that has the talent level of A&M's defense. I'm way more concerned about LSU's defense keeping A&M from scoring 40+.
