West Fel falls to Opelousas 14-0. Ok season. Opelousas has some players. Will be interesting to see what they can do with Lutcher.

Central has played a brutal schedule and is battle tested.

Yeah I thought so. My boy is a freshman that gets to travel on ASH team. We get to go back to go back to New Orkeans next week to play Karr.

The seeding is just so bad. ASH would beat Tioga by a good many touchdowns, Tioga played 3-A schools while we played Carencro and STM.
Tioga is much higher seeded

Long trip to #1 Seed Ruston next week. I think that winner goes to the Dome. I think whoever is waiting on them ultimately wins it all.

Ruston seems rusty after the bye. Their special teams may be the worst in HS football. O and D are legit though.

Why would the idiot BM coach call TO? What to gain?
no idea. Guess he was dumb enough to think ASH would kneel again on 4th and give him the ball back?

I think this will be their downfall in the Dome, should they make it that far. They can’t give Zachary or Destrehan the ball at the 50 all game and win.

Their defense is very good. Their offense isn’t at all imo. Too many negative plays if you can limit their long touchdowns. Most of their scores are singular “drives” that are long plays. Play team with equal speed and they’re going to sputter.

Has it definitively been decided where the Dutchtown/Central game will be played?

It will be their downfall. Bad thing is their K can actually kick it far but they go onside every time. Even worse, even the once out of 10 times they kick it deep, their coverage sucks.

Their O is pretty good at getting good drives. Decent passing game, good running QB, home run hitter RB, and they have a power back also. O sputtered in the 2nd half today though. Ruston imo will be better next year.

Based on what?

HC shut them out 30-0 less than a month ago.

Maybe you meant like a 10% chance?

Maybe you meant a chance to score?

I’ll be driving up.

Ruston is beatable. Westgate made the 2 pt try to tie it at 20 but had a penalty.

On the next drive, they were offsides on a 3rd and 5 with 2:30 or so left to give Ruston a 1st down and allowed them to run the clock out.

North LA schools may be a little overrated this year: WM out in R1, Neville out in R2, Airline needed a stop on a 2pt try to beat Southside tonight and Parkway got RUTSed in R1.

Higher seed hosts in the QFs and SFs, so it’ll be at Dutchtown.
