HC must have been saving up for this moment after getting their arse kicked year after year. Was not much of a “rivalry” honestly
Stone cold lead pipe lock of next week… whatever a hypothetical spread is for Acadiana at Holy Cross, Acadiana will cover it

It’s tough when the first time you get punched in the mouth all season is in the regional round. I’d rather Chalmette go 7-3 with big game experiences than what they are doing now.
Well next year we’re doing something different…

A fumble by a Walker WR on a 1st down catch late in the game is the only reason St Amant beat Walker, so yeah..

So Walker is better than St. Amant?
Yes. Walker had them beat on the road and needed a miracle fumble when Walker had already gotten a first down to ice the game.
St. Amant schedules the weakest non-district possible and begged the LHSAA to put them in a weaker district two years ago.

Prairieville HS will strip away students from Dutchtown, St Amant and EA and further weaken their program.

chalmette will probably be the third best team in that district.

None of them are anything we should be scared of

You just said Jesuit had a "chance" against HC.
Acadiana and HC have one common opponent.
Curtis beat Acadiana 28-0.
HC beat Curtis 42-41.
I expect a hard fought game.
You hate it when Holy Cross is successful, we all get it.
It clouds your analysis though.

if it's anything like when Chalmette was in the 4a district with Salmen, Chalmette will not do good with them

Opelousas has some players
Opelousas
Northwest (Opelousas)
Westminster Christian (Opelousas)
Did I miss any other Opelousas schools that made the playoffs?

Salmen hasn’t been at that level in years…
Maybe we’re not 10-2 against a legit schedule but none of that district is either

Keon Coleman’s Alma mater?

This game gives me 2014 Acadiana-Ponchatoula vibes. Perennial power vs. non-power having a dome-caliber season.

Anyone know where Kennedy vs Shaw is being played this week
Posted on 11/18/23 at 12:31 pm to Blutarsky
Walker still got the ball back with a chance to drive down the field and win the game. Seems to me like the St. Amant defense stepped up and made plays when they needed to.

I’ll say one thing begrudgingly on behalf of HC’s chances and that’s that Acadiana hasn’t been the unstoppable juggernaut they used to be…
However if you’re having a dome caliber season you don’t get exposed by Brother Martin either. You may lose to Karr, but you don’t get blown out

EBR parish in one district. Two non BR parishes in another. Makes sense to me. Don’t know what you’re talking about. 4-5A stronger district for all the other sports too?

Dude, take a break.
Martin beat HC. Each team scored 3 touchdowns. HC was down a field goal kicker and missed 2 extra points and a 28 yard FG.
Martin ran the last 8 minutes off the clock. Martin is pretty good last night notwithstanding.
Acadiana may beat HC but acting like HC shouldnt bother showing up makes you look stupid.

Looks like it's at Kennedy.
LHSAA Div II Select bracket
Is Kennedy a New Orleans school that doesn't have a stadium?
