This is a possibility. I know it’s not flashy but it’s vs Clemson who is in a way a mirror image rival to LSU.

Definitely would not mind seeing this. ND in the Outback(ReliaQuest) Bowl is interesting because of the BK factor but another ND bowl game on the field just doesn’t do it for me. Been there done that.

Music City bowl vs a Big10 team like Rutgers or Minnesota sounds totally terrible.

Texas Bowl Rematch with K State sounds great. Love to see them again with LSU at full strength.

I don't care about the bowl game. I care more about the matchup. I'd much rather watch LSU play Clemson in a "lower tier" bowl than LSU play Iowa in the Citrus/Cap one/cheez-it, whatever the hell it is now bowl.

What if we end up playing USC in a bowl game just to open against them next year?

Could see a rubber match in Florida vs Iowa. 3 different LSU HCs vs the same Iowa HC.
I don't know what would be more interesting Iowa offense vs LSU defense or LSU offense vs Iowa defense.

CBS is projecting us to Tampa vs NC State.

I'll take Notre Dame. We're 5-7 vs them all-time. Would like to get it to 6-7.

Except there’ll be a lot of opt outs. Might not be a great game for us. Once upon a time players wanted in, but the new mentality is not about loyalty to a team but loyalty to your own brand. I get it, I just don’t like it, and it doesn’t commend itself to respect.

Not as terrible as you’d think. We’ve never played either of those schools. I personally like first-time matchups.

At this point in time, nothing positive comes from this game. Not even if we win. If we win, well BK is supposed to win. That's why he left ND for LSU. There's no victory for LSU at all with that matchup.

We've been to too many bowls in the state of Florida.

Unless it's the Orange Bowl, I'll pass.

Whatever happens happens. If LSU wins out they will get invited to a top tier bowl as possible because they always high
Octane exciting games. With this offense any bowl will want them because of ratings….

I graduated from LSU in 1985 and moved to Florida in 1986. Watched a LSU defeat South Carolina in Jacksonville in 1987 Gator Bowl. No way I will ever attend an LSU football game in Jville ever. Don’t care who they play. What a dump bowl

Clemson beat LSU and that started their rise to the top. It would be cool to beat them on their way back down

I wouldn’t mind a matchup with Iowa. Best Strength v best strength, worst weakness v worst weakness across all of FBS football almost. Revenge game.

Of course Notre Dame. Obviously a lot of tie ins there. Also a revenge game.

If there wasn’t a near zero chance we make a NY6 bowl, playing Tulane who has one of the best records in CFB over the past 2 seasons would be in my top 3 matchups with playoffs out of question.

1) ND
2) Tulane
3) Iowa
