Was watching the documentary "Piece by Piece", and noticed them practicing against a men's team. Kim Mulkey must have "borrowed" the idea from Deuce Staley. lol.

I REALLY HATE WHEN Y'ALL TALK shite ABOUT PEOPLE FROM YOUR KEYBOARDS...ESPECIALLY CALLING A WOMAN OUT OF HER NAME.

GUYS HAVE BEEN PRACTICING AND APART OF THE WOMEN'S TEAMS FOR PROBABLY 20 YEARS AT LEAST. IT'S NOTHING NEW.

I was on the practice squad for the Lady Techsters back in 91-92. Kim was the associate head coach. I promise you she didn’t steal that from Staley.

LSU was doing this in 2011 when I was in college. Probably before then too I’d guess

I want to say Pat Summit was doing that at Tenn back in the day as well as other teams around the country.

The media thinks it’s something spectacular now bc Staley is doing it and bc they’re named after a school supply.

A little late to the party?

Meet the Dream Team,

There were also plenty of articles and threads about Kim Mulkey fighting to make sure these guys got Championship rings.

I am not a biologist, so, I cannot determine whether, in fact, a womens team from LSU might practice against a so-called "mens" team from LSU.

I'm pretty sure this is standard in women's basketball. They do it in the WNBA.

Practicing against guys is a common practice and has been for a very long time.

Louisiana Tech was doing this under Leon Barmore back in the 90's when Mulkey was still on staff there.

Practicing against men has been around for as long as women's basketball has been around.

I practiced against the girls team when I was on JV in highschool a long time ago. This has been a thing forever.

Certainly nothing new here. Only pretend fans don’t know WBB practices against men.

When I was on the JV basketball team in school we would sometimes scrimmage the varsity girls. We smoked them every time. I think they made us use the girl's ball too.
