frick it. Hope the poor kids come and get a taste. Make them work their arse off to one day be in the same hood.

I don't have a problem with out of neighborhood kids. I do have a problem with 'kids' who are old enough to shave or drive.

Just north of me is rural enough that the house are spaced apart. It's fine if they come into my neighborhood.

Nah, my complex started trick or treating for kids at 1700. But they're not riff raff kids. They're fine.
70% (easily) of the kids that showed up in my old hood were not from anywhere within two miles.
I don't begrudge kids having a good time, but if the treats suck in your hood, how about you send an email or text to the other shitty parents that live near you, and ask that someone buy some chocolate?

I’d rather that than the trunk or treat bullshite. Nothing like your parents cutting you loose in the neighborhood so they could grab a drink with the neighbor. My dad taught me my first lesson on taxes when we got back. He took out a couple of milky ways for himself and a bag of skittles for my mom. Afterall, he ran our so called household democracy.

I don’t blame them.
Pffftt. If we haven’t already had a few hundred if not more than we haven’t 1. And they are still coming in droves. They will keep coming all night.
I’ll literally have to turn the lights off and put the sun shade down so they quit walking up on the porch.

We have kids come to our neighborhood from all over our town and even the county. So far we’ve gone though five 220 count bags of Reese, Hershey, KitKat, Milk Duds, and Whoopers. I think we have three or four left. I actually enjoy handing out candy to the kids with my wife. But it’s cold and the World Series is on so I’ve left it to her.

Just give the little black kids some candy you racist POS.

Ditto!! 100%
I just fixed a drink, she’s still on the porch but the door is open and I can see and hear her plus watch the game at the same time
Win win win

Yes, in my neighborhood it’s probably >50% out of neighborhood kids. I live in a flat, very walkable area so that’s why. It’s a madhouse on my street right now
I don’t mind it. Kids have fun and that’s what matters

We didn't have any car loads of kids this year. One of my favorite things about my old neighborhood was having like 150 kids come trick or treat every Halloween.

My wife just did the math and she spent $150 on candy and estimated that we gave away about 1800 pieces and still not done and they keep coming.
I’m about to shut this thing down

I just opened the door to find Yogi and boo boo asking for candy at my Old Metairie house.

My wife spreads it out. As soon as they put out Halloween candy, she buys a bag or two anytime she’s in the store. Doesn’t really save money doing it that way, but it does save from the sticker shock of buying $150 on just candy all at once.

They go to neighborhoods that are safe.
Shut the frick and let kids enjoy it so they can be safe.

A group of kids came by earlier. The approx 10 year old boy lives across the street and said to his friend the decapitated body with lots of neon blood splatter and rats eating body parts was “not appropriate.”
I’ll take kids from outside the neighborhood over that kid.
Not to digress but the big hits so far have been Fun Dip, Gummi Life Savers, and packs of Pokémon cards.
