There are no kids on my street at all, but I'll see several parents stopping at the corner and dropping off a bus load of kids at one end of the street & picking them up at the other end every Holloween. As a kid, I remember just staying in the neighborhood...

Is that the case in many places? Just curious... my dogs and I will go to a friend's house, but I see this on my security cameras.. the dogs go bonkers and want to get out & go run up and down the street to play with everyone. If it wasn't for that, I would stay home and give out candy.

Well where are the kids don’t live in neighborhoods supposed to go?

Yeah I for sure see it in my hood. But I just put a big thing of candy out front and go out with my kids. I don’t care if the first kid takes the entire bucket or if it last through the night

My first ToT was from a car that pulled up in front of the house. Got the candy and promptly got back in the car.

Who cares?
Tric r treat is for kids, does it matter if they live on your street?
If you don’t want to hand out candy shut the door and turn out the light

It’s a form of reparations.

Probably apartment kids. Apartment life sucks for children.

Doesn’t bother me. When I run out of candy, I run out of candy.

Mostly just the kids in our subdivision. One year we did have a trailer full of kids though

Some of those kids might not get candy otherwise. Be a light. Give. Everyone is not as fortunate as all the OT moguls.

I’ve got no problem with it. Why blame it on the kids when they have shitty parents? There is enough shitty stuff in this world. You are only a kid for a short time in your life and Halloween is one of the nights you remember forever.if I can spend $10 and bring a smile to some kid’s face, I will do it.

I have no problem with a kid and his parents and friends taking them out of NOLA East or the 9th Ward to Trick Or Treat somewhere safer.

How many parents are driving a bus in your neighborhood?
