Wanted to know since there is a couple of moving pieces this year to that. Obviously beat Bama and win out but what has to happen to Ole Miss?

What happens if there’s a tie with records?

If both Ole Miss and LSU finish with the same record, Ole Miss wins the west because of the head to head win.

Ole Miss needs to lose a game.

Bama could also finish 7-1 which would give you a 3 way tie

They then look at the conference record of our east opponents. Root for Zou and FLA to win if OM pulls off the miracle in Athens. As it is right now, LSU would go as our eastern opponents are 6-2…while OM and Bama’s are both 4-4

Black Bears lose in Athens, and we're good.

With a 3-way tie at 7-1 the tiebreaker will come down to which team's East opponents has the best combined SEC record.

The way it looks if you simply go chalk, except for Ole Miss beating Georgia, then LSU will either win outright or tie with Alabama. If they tie with Alabama, the two-way tie scenario will kick in and LSU wins that on head-to-head and wins the west.

This is what I think it looks like.

Even if we do win out, I’m sure Ole Piss will claim co-West champs again

Beat Bama, Florida and Aggy. It's as simple as that. Do that, and you represent the West in Atlanta.

Ole Miss is quite vulnerable. They weren't any great shakes in Auburn this past Saturday. They've got at least one loss on the horizon. I know their offense was lights out vs LSU, but generally their offense has been quite pedestrian most of the season-- good but not great.

I'm not convinced Ole Miss is a football juggernaut. Their 720 yard explosion v LSU has many overestimating their true football prowess. They're good but not outstanding.

LSU win out. Ole Miss lose 1 more.

Ole Miss still has to go to Athens, so the 2nd part is pretty likely.

Ole Miss is most likely not beating Georgia on the road. That game will probably be a beat down like GA v KY.

Maybe, but we shouldn't be downplaying the offense that kicked our arse. Referring to offensive side only of course. Give them credit.

Absolutly but for the three-way tie scenario, Ole Miss beats Georgia
