How do we keep this kind of crap from happening again?
Every ballot needs to have as much security as a $100 bill.
Mail-in voting only for valid absentee reasons.
Signatures checked by machine and poll workers.
Strict voter ID requirements.
Maintain voter rolls properly. Check and survey submissions for accuracy.
Some of this has been installed with post 2020 legislation in the states.

Also, Trevian Kutti, one of the two people who showed up at Freeman's house and threatened Freeman with jail, is a co-defendant in the RICO case against Trump in Atlanta. Her actions as they pertain to Freeman are described in the Complaint of that lawsuit.

She named names, provided quotes, E.g., "the count is short" (Not intended as a subtle reference to your height, Tex). She discussed the under-the-table trunk. That's quite a bit of specificity for someone who was making it up on the fly.
FWIW, I did notice you chose to ignore the mishandling of thousands of ballots in the FCTC.
