Doubtful the cronies knew him at all. The shooting was what the officer that killed him was responding to. Shooting before crash. Cause/effect that killed someone not involved at all. Who takes the fall, shooters if caught(reasonable expectation someone could die), cop who killed him or both? My guess is cop and lots of money

Exactly what I was thinking. Prob the same group of animals that killed Alli Rice. The animals that killed Alli almost certainly stay on the south side of Government Street in the bottoms.

I’m pretty sure there’s precedent to charge one of the shooters with felony murder related to the crash, but that would require BRPD to actually identify and catch the shooter(s). Let’s be real.. that’s unlikely.

Either way it’s not hard to imagine an incoming civil suit against BRPD. I have to think they were hauling arse, if one guy passing through the intersection turned into an 8-car pileup with a fatality and multiple injuries. OTOH.. I can understand why they were hauling arse if the other cops said they were being shot at.

Without having seen photos, my guess is that the cops were hauling arse to the point where they not only T-boned this guy but likely also knocked him into several other cars.

That’s pretty fricking fast unless they were driving a police SUV like a Navigator which seriously outweighed the Impala.

It does say they were in a Ford Explorer. But still.

Explorer weighs more than a car but it isn’t exactly a heavyweight SUV like a Navigator or Suburban. So they were hauling serious arse.

There was only damage to the front of the vehicle but the engine ended up on the sidewalk. He must not have been wearing his seatbelt because he was ejected but still seems odd that he was t-boned and not the other way around.

Just shooting at cops now, huh?

Ridiculous

Wish we'd get real leaders that would stop this BS, with extreme force. It's beyond time.

He was L-boned. Car was struck on the side of the engine compartment? On a front wheel driven car the motor, transmission, and axles are all one big unit.

You don’t say. I think we all figured that out from reading the articles. Unless there’s more that makes it even more of a flustercuck.
