TigersLair, where the Evil Twins and many TD posters here were regulars at the time, then they went pay, right around the same time as Chicken hatched TD a few months later..
Reminds me of Canes vs Bailey's..one made the loot..the other wilted.
In the early internet days, DandyDon's was an early morning must visit to keep up with Saban's latest 4* & 5 * recruit to BR.

My friend's dad, despite being a big Auburn fan, posted here a lot I guess because it was really active and dealt with non-LSU Baton Rouge stuff a lot too. One time when I was over there he showed me and his son a video regarding the Bama coaching search that was pretty funny and it was the first I saw of TD. From then on I just usually popped in as a lurker when there was big news or happenings around college football and LSU until I finally actually made an account way down the line

Someone would email me something that was on the fark board every once in awhile. Then I ventured to the rant, then the OT.
When I first signed up, I really didn't know much about message board. How cultures are built on different boards. I thought it was just people talking shite to each other. I didn't view posters as individual people. It was just some person I didn't know personally so it could be anyone.. Some dumbass loser, some college student messing with people, someone board at work entertaining themselves, etc

I used another LSU message board and DandyDon way back before TD.
Somehow crossed over when Chicken started up the gerbils. I think he and I were in the same freshman class, living in Hatcher dorm.
Anyway, that’s how. I’ve posted from rarely to daily, over the years, but always a frequent lurker.

My friend went to rehab for being a degenerate low-life scumbag. While there, the had them all check in and create a tigerdroppings account to prove to them that there are many, many idiots in this world worse off then they were.

I was searching for recipes and the food board came up. I had posted on a bigger message board for a while and was intrigued by a local one. Then I found the OT and all the people who thought content that had been on the internet for years originated here. I stayed to watch the train wreck and ultimately joined.
