Guys, we have an excellent head coach that knows how to build a program. He’s done it multiple times before at every stop along the way, and he will do it here. It’s hard to realize in the moment after a tough loss, but he is already doing so.

I know Saturday was embarrassing (specifically on defense), but hang in there for the ride. The line graph of improvement is never a straight line.

I know there’s a lot of negativity here after a tough loss, that’s what we as fans do, I’m just saying hang in there and be patient.

I was as pissed as anyone Saturday to lose a shootout in that fashion, as I’m sure everyone in the LSU building was, but you gotta keep moving forward and keep getting better. I think we will, and I know we have a great coach that’s gonna do the same.

For those of us that remember, we were all questioning the Saban hire after the OleMiss game in Year2 in Tiger Stadium.

ETA: if you don’t watch BK’s press conferences (Monday pregames, Saturday post-games, post-practices), I highly recommend doing doing so. OleMiss postgame: LINK. Mizzou pregame: LINK

Wasting an offense and QB like we’re doing is a tough pill to swallow

He has to be better with the EASY decisions though. If he starts Speights over Weeks again this week I'll lead the lynch mob to his fricking house.

I hope you're right...but I feel like you are very wrong! Kelly is what he is and that has NEVER been a champion!

Has he built a program to be able to win a national championship? Because if not, then I don’t really care.

How?

But it looks like we are getting worse…

Worse talent. More competition with better talent. LSU will be a 4 loss average program at this rate

As bad as the offense started in 2022, look at it where it is now and how it got better during season

Kelly is gonna fix the defense.
Some of it is personnel which you can't fix right away but it's important we see better use of personnel and better schemes to help alleviate the deficiencies

A lot of people on here are not aligned.

2024 is our year.
More experience in the secondary (even more so if Greg Brooks can make a full recovery), top tier O-Line, hungry QB, & we haven’t even dipped into the portal yet.

I get what you’re saying but I’m concerned about BK teams never having LSU dogs that we are used to seeing. The longer BK is here the more LSU looks like Notre lame

Maybe it takes 3 years to learn House's scheme. Heard that one before.

At least we are not in the same boat as Arky who hired an OL coach that wants to retire in Hot Springs and the job is his last. They have been regressing since the day he was hired

Have to recruit the elite level talent. There would be less a sense of insecurity if LSU was recruiting at the level of UGA, Bama, Ohio State, Texas, even A&M (notwithstanding their problems). He simply is not. The guys he is getting are awesome and would fill in in any elite class, but he isn't landing the high end talent that you need to sprinkle throughout the roster. Even further, we have signed 2 3* defensive tackles since he has arrived on campus. Saturday showed what can happen if you don't set the line of scrimmage.

Lets see how the team responds this week. That will tell all about the coaches and the players.

I agree. We’re still LSU. We can make fixes faster than most programs. Always sucks having high expectations and not meeting them though…

LSU's historically all time worse defense

Lazy coaching-never prepared and zero in game adjustments. No coaching of fundamentals

Disastrous personnel decisions- i.e. Harold Perkins

Lazy recruiting and relying on portal to compensate

Feeling the need to tell everybody he slept at his office last night

Linear decline since the Bama game last year

Woodward stepping in to force a move to get help on the D-line

Sounds more like a train wreck instead of building a program

I agree with you. Incredibly frustrated at the moment but I think Kelly will get it straightened out.
