I’d have no problem mentioning him with the greats given how poor safety play has been in recent seasons.
Oh boo hoo these guys are no longer the “20 year old student athlete”

Outside of a handful of players, a lot was left to be desired from players being paid a lot of money to play.
This is why no buyout amount would have been too high.

To think our offense tonight was run by a guy who was hired as the run game coordinator and a running backs coach.
Bring on January 2nd and the transfer portal.
This is exactly why the buyout ultimately is just a line item. If the team actually plays to the level we hope they will, the dollars coming in will more than make up the ~$52M owed over the next 6 years.
Down da bayou sources > big journalism
I just watched every snap of LSU vs Western Kentucky. I’m locked in.
I could see Drink working at LSU. I know his big game record isn’t what we want, but the guy is at Mizzou.

He gives me Les Miles vibes in a good way. Quirky has worked for LSU in the past.
Seems to bother the players wearing it more than anything.

Name any player who got better when rewarded number 7 or 18?
Seems like it hurts more than it helps.

New regime coming in would be a good time to adjust how we recognize captains.
Obviously their fan base has a lot of thoughts and feelings on BK. But since his hiring, it was pretty insane how any online dialogue about LSU had a bunch of Irish fans involved.

Now that he’s done, hopefully they can rest and worry about themselves.
Nothing better than TD and a potential firing / hiring process.
Kind of but not really. Penn State got a signing bonus for the deal and will most likely use that to pay the buyout.

Adidas is indirectly paying it.
4 games is a trend. Hard for the most positive fans to disagree with that.

Multiple seasons without a real running game outside of the QB is alarming.
Paraphrasing but they essentially blame the OC as the main culprit for LSU’s offensive woes.

The interesting comment is when they allude that in coaching circles, a lot of people were surprised there wasn’t a change going into the season.

I’m typically a pretty positive spin fan but struggling to find silver linings after Saturday.
