This is from the twitter feed of Deuce Windham, who does a really great job of analyzing the Saints. Its a 3rd and 7 - look at the middle of the field.

Saw something very similar in the Green Bay game where there were receivers on the outside running similar routes close to one another.

I think Vilma was suggesting that maybe someone ran the wrong route.

But now here is more of the same. Just an awful play design.

That’s inexcusable. People who blame carr need to see more of this. There’s no reason with all the weapons on this roster we make life so hard on ourselves offensively.

Our head coach is a proven loser and our OC has never been able to do anything on his own. It's the blind leading the blind and unfortunately, even with all our talent, they still can't formulate a plan that looks anything close to competent.

I'm sure the route tree calls for Kamara to leak out over the middle, but he's forced to stay in and block because - once again - there's an o-lineman standing around touching no one

Pete can’t put together effective route trees? Here’s my shocked face.

That looks like man-2 where we kept 5 back in protection (ie, our "middle of the field option"). Also, 2 of those receivers are breaking in, going to the middle.

I just don't think this play says what the Tweet is trying to imply.

What it looks like is either an inability from Carr to read the man presnap and make the correct call or Carmichael doesn't have a manbeater, which is actually beyond comprehension. I'm going to go with Carr misread the D and didn't make the right call.
