Meeting women at bars/clubs could result in you getting kicked out, laughed at or even having the woman do a YouTube video on you to destroy you for the world to see. In most social settings now there's way too much risk for the man to approach

Porn will ruin the younger generations of men. Something needs to be done. Unlimited, easy access is the root of a lot of problems. Combine that with the work from home era and we are doomed as a society.

Theres an epidemic of risk averseness thats been enforced by the new societal hierarchy. I'll never understand whats attractive about that to males. Men are risk takers, its in the DNA.

We as a culture have forgotten that life is an adventure. And in a true adventure you have many unknowns which are quite terrifying. Making it through those unknowns builds strength and character, which is what women are attracted to.

There were quite a few writings that came out in the same time period as smart folks saw what was coming. CS Lewis called it out clearly in The Abolition of Man (not fiction, more of an attempt at a lecture). I think Huxley and Lewis would be appalled but not surprised at where we are now.

Wow, you don’t like women, do you? Not all are like you say. My daughters are mid and late 20s, double degreed, and work hard. As do their friends. The oldest works her a$$ off to help her husband and they are a team.

For all of the insta crazies out there, there are still millions of normal attractive women looking for a good, normal man with potential.

Get your shite together and do something with potential or at least reliable
Be self confident and outgoing
Be polite and respectful
Get in decent shape
Get some friends roommates that do the same and work each other’s social circles
Do something interesting

Just by not being a douchebag you’ll be ahead of the pack. Also, be comfortable in your own skin and in being single. The IDGAS about chasing women all the time vibe is like catnip.

Right. Our subconscious mind seems to be at odds to the materialistic, comfort driven society we have been socialized to desire. It creates a vacuum of meaning and leads to depression and anxiety.

Men and women are being pushed to renounce their instincts and natural desires for the socially engineered versions.

These things aren't linear, but move like a pendulum. I'm already seeing the pendulum swinging back towards traditionalism. There is a "trad wives" movement. Young people always buck convention, and you'll increasingly see them rebel against modern feminism.

As for you, you are making sweeping generalizations about "the rules" and what you can and can't do. The truth is, there is supply and demand in all things. If fewer men are willing to approach women, then there is a demand for that that you can fill. You just have to stop being a pussy and don't worry about rejection. Just get after it and you'll shot down less and less as time goes on and you'll have more dates than you can go on.

I found myself wondering something recently while watching that survival show alone. These are pretty competent men on the show, some are really tough. And many don’t make it a week out there.

Now think about guys like Louis and Clark who set out into unknown wilderness facing all the same dangers on top of hostile natives, and they survived. How fricking hardass those guys then had to be. A completely different type of person that probably doesn’t exist in this world anymore.

All the sailors braving the Atlantic to the new world, colonists building towns and cities on untamed land, the pioneers moving out west. We study it in history but I don’t think we truly appreciate just how hard those men were to do that

What’s the issue? Get/stay in shape, have a stable job and it’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

I do have sympathy for young guys dating in the work from home world. Work happy hours were a gold mine with extended social groups and parties. My old roommate ended up dating our office receptionist and I met my wife by asking her out after walking past each other coming in and out of our building and a coworker shamed me into getting the nerve to ask her out.

She later said she said yes because I looked sharp, confident and like somebody that was going places….we had to suit up for work back then.

I told her it was because she was cute and and had a great personality when I had spoken with her….but the reality is she was hot, stacked and had great legs in high heels.

I'm 31 and my girl is 38. I started my own business last year and we crossed paths at a few different condos. Gave her my card for some future work and she called me a few hours later and asked if I wanted to get dinner that night. First time a woman has ever done that to me. She is incredible. I guess you just gotta get lucky.

Yeah don't date with this mindset.

And it's both sides who have lost it as well. I've watched the survival show Alone and find it truly fascinating. No stupid challenges and no cameramen, they truly are alone and can truly die out there.

There are definitely some competent and tough men and women on that show. Heck Callie would've made it 100 days on I think Season 7 if she wasn't forced to be medically evacuated. She made it longer than several winners from other seasons.

I'll admit I would be one of those people who wouldn't make it a week out there. I'd probably wouldn't make it more than 3 or 4 days.

Why not? She either shoots me down or says yes….and then you try to figure out if she’s crazy or not. I went through a ton of 2 month relationships before her and got dumped more than I did the dumping.

And of course she was crazy, but in the fun hot way that was workable. Also she had a couple of dudes on the string that I had to beat out…which wasn’t difficult. Hell, I had a girl I was dating too that I had to cut loose.

Many women don’t want to date bigoted, politically obsessed, uneducated men who can’t take care of themselves let alone a partner.

Breaking news to some dudes, I guess.
