Also said Pels believe he has finally learned the level of commitment he needs to have and they are very excited. If he’s truly in as great of shape and has been working like everyone says he has, we’re wrecking the league this year. Seems like CJ’s leadership is starting to pay huge dividends.

Also another little nugget i seen/heard the other day is Zion’s new trainers are working almost exclusively on his lower body to increase strength and help him avoid anymore lower extremity injuries.

Will need to see it on the court.

But if he is truly making the investment, that is good news.

He makes a lot money. Do what Lebron does and invest it back in yourself.

No need, just trust me on this one.

Like I said, play a full season and get back to me. I'm done with the "always in the building", "training his lower body", "best shape of his life". Sorry, call me cynical.

They "believe" hes in really good shape? Do you not know if he's in good shape or not?
Why couldn't you just say he's in the best shape he's ever been with us? Is that too much to expect from him going into this season?

Frustrating it’s taken him this long. But now’s the best time

When you've been great at something for so long and never really had to put any work into it to be great, its going to take time for you to learn that you actually have to put in the effort when things start going wrong. You’ll just think its bad luck for awhile.

IF its true, and IF it actually works out...

Better he does it now than after he is traded to Miami or LA, like I expected

Let’s hope he treats it as a temple, not an amusement park.

42ish would be the perfect Vegas number. Maybe 45.

Just enough to sucker both sides in.

I am going over just to be optimistic.

I was glad to hear Shams mention money. Not only does that mean he's hiring more professionals rather than family, but it also shows a level of commitment. I'm sure he's still far away from where LeBron is, but long term he's going to need to do what LeBron has done and have the best people keeping him in peak shape.

I'm not going to lie. I don't know where to get motivation to deliver the proper all caps game threads we deserve. It feels like I'm just the overly optimistic "this is the year" guy now.

I just want 60 fricking games of Zion, which is still low. 60. fricking. Games. Pels are in the playoffs, not the play-in, if that happens.

I would hammer the under on both of those.

The good thing about this year is it's do or die. I'll give him this year to prove it. A other fat out of shape or injury filled year and I'm out.

I find it interesting that so many fans are already out on Zion but were OK with Dennis Allen getting another year.

One is a disappointing generational talent who has flashed top 5 talent.

The other is a bottom five all time winning percentage head coach who has done jack shite.

To be fair this is Allen’s second year coaching. You usually don’t fire a coach after one year. Zion is in his fourth year, and is constantly injured. Personally, I’m not completely out on Zion but I’m open to finding an alternative to him if there was one. Regardless comparing the two is like comparing apples to oranges.
