They're really bringing down the classiness of this joint.

Yes there was one in the 90’s. There was also another episode I remember with the cows around ‘79. We were riding towards downtown and began seeing loose cows walking around where the interstate crosses the Lsu lakes. Once near downtown by the 10-110 split, we saw the accident and dead cows everywhere.

When I was a kid in the 70's there was a cattle truck turned over at I-85 and I-285 on the SW side of Atlanta and cows running everywhere...people were hauling those cows off in all manner of vehicles LOL...

Imagine being behind a pig truck on the Mississippi River bridge. That is bad enough in and of itself. Now imagine the damned door swinging open and an avalanche of pigs falling out of the trailer right in front of you...that is some biblical shite right there.

Good lord, I’ll bet that tore up some cars!

I drove up on a very similar situation late at night on I-40 just south of downtown OKC. I didn’t have time to react and wound up hydroplaning over a dead pig, there was a big red cloud of blood mist in my rear view but no significant damage to the car. Pretty sure the fact the pig was lying down saved me.

Same thing happened with a dead deer late at night. There was a minivan on the opposite shoulder flashing their brights at me so I was a bit blinded and my attention was on them. I saw the deer lying on the road and again, had no time to react. BRRRT.. those people had hit the deer evidently. Stank up my garage for a few days but no real damage.

August 1994

Not all of the cows were rounded up. A local resident remarked that "there are gonna be some nice barbecues this weekend..."

Just curious but are Muslims allowed to drive through the pig carnage or do they have to wait until it’s cleaned up?
