Eh, a parent needs to be a parent. Not their kid’s friend

And encouraging underage drinking is trashy. Tolerating it is acceptable.

There’s pics of her in Reggie’s with her mom earlier in the semester. That’s not a good look.

Would I be correct in assuming mom is hot?

Or too much work done trying to hang onto youth?

parents do go to the bars around LSU for family weekends even it's for a small amount of time

it does seem like the family is on the money grab from this
the mom went and had her on a billboard in New York City with donations requested

It’s up to the responsible citizen to not waste the court’s time unless he or she feels the person or business is truly at fault.

No.

If you are going to file a suit, you sue anyone who could reasonably have some percentage of responsibility. Its up to the courts to decide if they don't.

I don't see much reasonable responsibility for Lyft here, but I'm not a blood sucking lawyer.

Overboard? The driver is the one who hit and ultimately killed her. No different than if you were hit by another driver in an accident. Now, whether or not he was negligent is for the judge/jury to decide. But if I'm naming defendants the Lyft driver is the very first one

Well, that's certainly an opinion.

The only responsible person that night is now getting sued and will have to pay for representation.

And with him being a lyft driver, I doubt he has much money at all.

The sue happy nature of this country sucks

Is she hot? Is she emotionally vulnerable and perhaps in need of a shoulder to cry on?

If your goal is to win money for your daughters death you absolutely include Lyft in your suit

If your goal is seeking justice form your daughters death you don’t include Lyft.

I wish Allie Rice's dad would sue everybody too - namely BRPD. And don't settle. Take the shite to court

Lol he is not going to do that because the only thing he would accomplish with that suit is wasting $100k+ in legal fees. Good luck trying to get a BR judge to denounce BRPD. Also, most people don't realize that the state nor its political subdivisions can be compelled to execute a court ordered money judgment. They don't have to pay if they don't want to.

Lyft provides liability insurance while you're driving for them. Lyft's insurance provider will be the ones paying for representation.

The driver shouldn't be personally out of pocket unless he somehow gets found liable in court and the jury awards more than the $1 million in coverage provided by Lyft.
