Personally, I don't mind taxes if going to what they say it is supposed to go to. If our roads and bridges were all in great shape, schools, healthcare, etc I'd be fine with it. When you raise taxes and roads, schools, healthcare, more people leeching on society, then people are going to be disgruntled. If Sweden politicians take care of their people, then I'm sure it works fine there.

Sounds lovely. But not worth the tax price tag or hard to find housing. Not yet, anyway. Nanny countries, too. Nope.

It's already been stated about the homogenous society.... But those in bold have fewer people in combined national population (27.2mm) than metro NYC and LA combined (32.4mm). ...the difference (5.2mm)in those four countries and NYC/LA is about the size of metro phoenix (5mm) and that is 10th on list for US cities.

All the countries on the best list combined (205mm) don't come to 2/3rds of the total US Pop (331mm) India and China could of course make the same argument about size vs the US, but for being a large diverse population ...USA

There has now been 7 people killed in shootings in Sweden in just 1 week.

20 years ago we had the lowest number of shootings in Europe. Now we have the highest number.

What went wrong?

SWEDEN OUT OF CONTROL

A top police chief in Sweden is now saying that the situation is so dangerous that it hasn't been this bad since 1945.

Just last week a 13 year old boy was shot to death in Stockholm.

There's been over 110 bombings so far this year.

You are not a citizen in any of those countries.

You are an unarmed peasant who doesn't even enjoy freedom of speech. A serf, nothing more.

Sweden has a gun problem....

quote:

Strommer said Sweden's sixty shooting deaths this year compared to four in Norway, four in Denmark and two in Finland. The deaths are the tip of an iceberg of violence and organised crime that have put down deep roots in parts of society, Strommer said.

quote:

Sweden has gone from having one of the lowest incidences of gang violence to one of the highest over the last 20 years, according to the Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention.
