Friend,
Yes. At the best Neapolitan pizzerias they will usually have freshly grated Parm that is real Parm and not salted wood pulp like most of the stuff that is free at chain pizzerias. I believe the Parm adds flavor to the pizza. I also put crushed red pepper and dried oregano on the pizza. A lot can be discovered about a pizzeria by seeing if they have oregano available. I believe the best slice shops have oregano.

I sprinkle Parmesan, black pepper and a little salt on most pizzas. Why? It tastes better.

While I am quite fond of "Americanized pizza" the simple original is awesome.

More garlic is always the correct answer…

I always want more Parmesan but I’m embarrassed

Freshly grated parm? Absolutely, and quite a bit. That clumpy dust already out on the table? No.

Not always but yes I like it.

Yes. Just because I grew up doing it at Pizza Hut. I miss a Pizza Hut Buffett. I miss 80s/90s Pizza Hut.
This. This is a perfect post. I can't add anything to it. It is exquisite.

There was something magical about that buffet. That and the sit down Ms. Pacman machine in the corner. Ah the memories!

What about truffle oil and goat cheese? What kinda abomination is that?

I like pineapple with certain pies as long as it’s done right, as small chunks as possible.

Don’t knock a pepperoni+pineapple pizza until you try it.

Floppy greasy NY style, yes. The sawdust texture helps clump the grease together.

If I'm eating pizza at the kinda place that has it on the table.. sure, why not.. It's not something I have to have though...
