House is reinventing defense, we don’t want to sack the QB anymore, it’s 12D chess.

Out of position when he played in the middle or in coverage better coming off the edge. Honestly the defense appeared to play better when weeks was in the middle.

Somehow taking one of the best cfb defenders and making him irrelevant. How’s that for player for development for the nfl. Insanely frustrating to watch. Perkins closing speed is unmatched and we aren’t doing shite w it

Was watching our game but paying more attention to the Bama-UT game at that point, which Weeks did you think fit that spot better?

This defense hasn't got a sack this season so your answer is no. Nobody is playing aggressive. Not only is House playing a bend but don't break defense because his secondary is suspect, they can't pressure on the QB. The entire defense sucks.

Who? Is he still on the team. Thought he transferred, never hear or see him in the game.

House hates getting pressure on the QB. It's mind boggling how he refuses to make adjustments or attack the QB.

People will bitch and moan about the fact that he didn't have any sacks, but they'll ignore the fact that Grambling was getting the ball out very, very fast when we had our starters in. Tons of screens and short passes.

Perkins played well. Got a few pressures off the edge, played some nickel at a high level, breaking up 2 plays (which I think is the position that helps LSU the most).

There was one play when the score was 14-7 and Gambling broke off a 30+ yard run. When Perkins finally entered the picture he closed on him like a cheetah. But other than that one play Perkins has jogged around the field like an old man for two games now. I hope he gets back to form because he was sure fun to watch last year. But optimal position or not so far this year he's looked good on one play. Against Grambling.

Zero just goes upfield blind every snap . Takes him so out of any play he doesn’t just run in to. I wouldn’t say that’s Bend but don’t break.

Wes #33 I believe he seemed to play his gap assignments properly and forced runs back inside when they were getting to the edge. Not sure if he only came in cause Omar got banged up though.

Perkins has jogged around

He had a great pbu
He pummeled some poor kid early on when he caught a quick pass on flat. He chased down the qb and forced the throw on the int play by penn or it was a few plays before and the qb and wr made a great play on the sideline.

He is a sophomore, right? If he is going to be a star at MLB, he has to learn the position. Only way to do that is on the field. How bad was Damone Clark when he was asked to play read and react instead of attacking from the edge? Terrible his first year, then he learned and became a quality linebacker for LSU.

He’s a top 5 NFL draft pick if he’s played correctly .
But since he’s being played out of position his draft stock is going to get hurt . Some smart team gonna draft him late 1st round and become defensive ROY
