Went to the observatory on Johnson Ridge near Mt St Helen's and they said the sound bounced and some areas between the blast zone and the coast didn't hear anything but it was loud at the coast

I was I at the river walk in New Orleans when that ship hit it. Didn’t shite myself but definitely trucked it out of there. Looking back trying to drunk walk down tchopitoulas to tipitinas was probably scarier.
