Yeah- I’ll take our guy all day!

CBK- it’s not productive and throws out the instigators.

Coach Prime- to the guys that walked off and didn’t participate- “if one fight, we all fight!”

LOL - I guess just a little difference in coaching

There's a difference between a pushing and shoving match like that was and dudes throwing punches and going to the ground. Once it goes to the ground, you're just asking for a knee to get tweaked.

That video seems like a whole bunch of nothing. Totally different from what happened last week at LSU.

I'd like our program to not be compared to anything Deon is doing at CU, thanks.

Things couldn't get much worse for Colorado, so I understand why they made the hire. They are as popular now as they have been in at least 10 years...and they haven't even played a game yet.

However, there is nothing I'm more sure of failure than this debacle. At Jackson St. he could use his celebrity to recruit some talented players. With the SWAC being one of the least talented, and worst coached leagues in all of college football, superior talent could win out over the inferior competition.

That is not going to be the case at Colorado. Almost every team they play this season will have significantly more talent. The assistant coaching may be "ok", but Deion won't be able to just stay out of the way and let them do their jobs. This is ALL about him because it has ALWAYS been all about him. Once the losing starts, you will quickly start to see rifts develop amongst the staff and players. Deion will face criticism for the first time in his career as a coach and he won't handle it well. And the recruiting "bump" won't really materialize because the "big boys" will still be there with NIL and much more prestige. Colorado's 2024 class is currently ranked 65th

It's a novelty act that will run its course pretty quickly.

I don't think it's that weird. Prime was a superstar in his playing days and had plenty of fans. And odds are if you grew up watching Prime in his, well, prime then you also remember Colorado being a really good program. Nostalgia is a helluva a drug so I understand the intrigue behind Prime at Colorado.

So while that aspect I fully understand, what I DON'T understand and is weird to me is Colorado having the 6th most bets to win the national title. Not sure if that's still the case but it was at one point. That's just fools setting their money on fire. They should be aiming for bowl eligibility, that would be a wild success for CU this season. Anyone thinking playoffs for the Buffs this year, well go look up Jim Mora's playoff rant for my response

LSU would curb stomp Colorado 42-3 and win the fight in the tunnel afterwards.
Just like we did to Miami at the Peach Bowl.

I have no issue with what Deion said. If the offense gets into it with the defense, then the offensive guys should have their backs. Not fighting per se but in the scrum trying to push guys away or something. It builds a chemistry; wanting to go to war with your guys. Robert Saleh said something to the effect during the 2nd episode of hard knocks.

Is that for real? I can only imagine most of those bets are being placed by NFL fans who know little about college football.

I think it would actually be cool if CU got good again under Deion, but good grief, there are posters on the MSB who are already saying he'll have an SEC job in 2-3 years. It's like everyone suddenly decided to ignore that they're coming off a 1-win season, have no depth, and aren't lighting up the recruiting trail as assumed.

Colorado isn't likely going to be a quick fix, so if Deion does eventually turn them around, I'm not convinced he would immediately bolt for another job.

I think Colorado is going to be much improved, but I think they do have some major question marks, and possibly structural issues.

This is a big nothing-burger... except for the fact that the players have their Twitter handles on the back of their jerseys.

Why do some of those jerseys have Instagram or twitter handles as their names?
