The whole "Get Out The Vote" narrative/mechanism sounds virtuous, but in effect regarding the current scenario, is lethal and pernicious. Those 'Omnibus' Bills are Democrat $$$ out the wazoo, virtually untraceable and unlimited. BLM and Antifa had hired pros going from State to State to gas light the streets.

The Founders rightfully feared a "Central Bank over a Standing Army", and now we see why.

I really don't think they hate Trump as much as they put off (and by they, I mean the power brokers). They see him as a shiny toy they can play with and steer the masses (left and right) whichever direction they want them to go.

They viewed him as a useful idiot (as they do all outsiders with some power) while he was president. They are master manipulators. One has to be politically very savvy and connected to sidestep it. And there's the catch 22 if we elect an "outsider" to clean up Washington. A naïve person will get chewed up and spit out. Once they lose their naiveté, they become what they were sent there to fight. A term-limited president who the establishment dislikes can easily get his hands tied by the mass of those who are not shackled by term limits.

At what point does it matter if it was either because of malice or incompetence. If the results are the same, does it ultimately matter what the intent was?

I don’t believe it to be malice or incompetence.

The CARES Act was passing, period end of discussion.

I agreed with Massey. He deserves major credit for standing his ground.

But to blame Trump is moronic at this point.

Didn't Trump have to sign the bill? Could he have not vetoed it? How are you saying his hands were clean on this deal?

The veto would have been over ridden and Trump would come off as unCARE-ing about the terrible killer virus that was plaguing the earth. I believe that's what the other poster is saying.

He has a history of bending the knee to media and the deep state. It’s the same reasoning we get when asked why he never fired Fauci.

That’s way too much nuance for the Trump hater coalition to *properly process.

Why isn’t Congress giving our people a Stimulus Bill? It wasn’t their fault, it was the fault of China. GET IT DONE, and give them more money in direct payments

Perhaps, but he was actively cheerleading this thing and trying to take out anyone who stood in the way. It's not as if he was forced into it.

He could have at least pushed back on some of it at minimum, he did not.

So no comments from Trump folk. They continue to ignore the fine print.

I’m confident in saying if Trump had known these funds would be used for massive ballot harvesting and mail in voting (against state law) he wouldn’t have signed it.

Pretty disingenuous to represent it that way.

You don’t fix it by voting for the person who stood by and watched it happen and let his agencies facilitate it.

Wait, our vote counts now?

Ok, so again, with Trump it's always "incompetence" so we let it slide... with everyone else it's malice and we don't.

If the end result is the same, how much does it really matter?

Are we really living in some sort of fantasy world where we believe ANY president could have thwarted something that was basically unanimous legislation from both houses of Congress?

Muh, if he was only the leader my guy is!

If the outcome was desired - it’s malice. If the outcome was predictable but ignored- it’s incompetence.

In this case, it’s unprecedented. Did it happen under his watch? Yeah. Could anyone have predicted how Dems and states would abuse it? Not without a crystal ball.

That is definitely not as clear as you would make it seem.

Quit making excuses. Trump has constantly stepped in the poo. Him signing CISA 2018 which allowed collaboration between Big Tech and the NSA was a prime example. Collaboration which Trump later blamed for himself losing in 2020 (with the suppression of the Hunter Biden story).

Why did you edit that article you posted and why did you lie about Trump telling GA voters not to vote?

"Lawyers Sidney Powell and Lin Wood suggested at a rally Wednesday Georgians should not vote as long as Dominion machines are in use."

This is all it took.
