Dude you should learn spanish. Get fluent and go have the time of your life in a latin country.

This is probably somewhat true, but only because you're depressed man. People don’t like hanging out with depressed people. Is what it is.
Let me tell you the real truth though. People don’t care about stuff like this nearly as much as we think. We're all in the same boat and we all have problems and low points in our lives. The people that know you understand youre going through it. Stop worrying about what they think, they want you to feel better.
Also, its important to keep yourself busy. One of the best things people in your position can do is go do some volunteer work with the intention of helping others and not receiving credit for it. You'll be surprised what kind of good medicine that is for an aching heart. Said a prayer for you brother, you're gonna be just fine.

Do you love yourself? If you don't know or can’t tell, think back to the all times you were proud of yourself. Or went through growing pains. Keep that stuff in your mind and you’ll get through this and probably be in a better place than you were before it got bad.

when it comes to your family and friends, please try to remember that they are likely feeling helpless since they can't seem to help you...they aren't fed up with you...they just know they can't fix it, and they feel bad about that...
also, try to remember that you aren't the only one to ever feel this way...many people have experienced something like this, and have found a better life after...you have to grieve in your own way, but the longer you dwell on the negative things, the longer your mindset will be negative...try to find small things that lift your mood, even if it's for a very short time...

If you dont go for Hispanics. Amsterdam is nice and your not breaking any laws.
It can be a great way to forget how bad the sex with your ex got towards the end.
They love American guys in Mexico, Costa Rica and Columbia. Short trips with no attachments and after a while you'll forget her.

You can make it through this. I went through a divorce after 18 years of marriage and she left on Christmas Day 2019 with my 10 year old son. It’s been tough but you can do it.
