Jumping in late here, but buffet’s in general are trashy AF. Casino buffet’s are next level trashy.

Ok. I never bragged about being an amazing cook. I am nowhere near a chef or even an overly talented cook.
I’m not white knighting for a casino. I pointed out that some were dismissing CRAB LEGS from a casino because they perceive the casino to be bad food. They were dogging the OP’s idea of eating crab legs at the casino.

I could not have typed or said it better. Legalized gambling is one of many signs of a failing civilization. The current proliferation of gambling in our culture is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, threats Western Civilization faces today. That it has subtly infiltrated our professional sports, even our universities, speaks to its quiet potency. Quietly it erodes the foundations of our society. Yes, all casinos, gambling, and lotteries should be boycotted. And each of us should write to our representatives to rebuke all forms of that plague.

Just go to Foo Chow in Walker on Saturday night. The crab legs are much better, and it's only around $25-$30 for ayce. I gorge myself and eat what would probably cost hundreds at a seafood place.

I live in Shreveport and eat at casino 2-3 times a year. Sometimes we go to watch bands play. I took this comment more about obese white trash than black people. At least when I’m there, tends to be way more white people than black. Not sure why color got related to this comment. I don’t mind the food, I mean most of us eat supper 365 days a year, FFS it’s ok not to go through life pretending to be a food snob every now and then just to impress people, who are never actually impressed to begin with

The atmosphere at Ruth's in Lafayette already sucks without an ayce crab leg special. I can imagine the shitshow that would occur with that in place, and it would definitely not be somewhere that I would want to be

We showed up at 6:30. We were informed it would be a 3 hr wait, and typically you need reservations. Literally everyone sitting down had crab legs at their table. Needless to say, we did not wait..

The only Buffet I eat is in Vegas

Honestly, multiple races were well represented. Now if I had to guess, I’d bet the concentration of diabetics in the crowd was elevated to a hire level than what would have been found in the rest of the casino.

I'll take a restaurant recommendation from AbitaFan any day of the week....he's given some good ones. Sixth and Supper Club not so much.
