I don't think soccer is that big of a deal down there either. They love Rugby, Aussie Rules football and even cricket but soccer is kind of meh. It's not like Europe or S. America. You don't see bros walking around in Messi jerseys or jackasses demanding the bartender change the channel to a replay of some irrelevant Italian pro soccer game that happened a month ago.

Shouldn't this be completely demeaning to women? Why is it "the right thing" to come watch? It's basically admitting the product isn't attractive but force yourselves to come and bear it anyway so you won't hurt these little ladies' feelings
