He is a great role model for young men in their 20’s, 30’s, and maybe even in their 40’s.

I agree. There's a lot of Satanic messaging being casually tossed around lately. It goes to show how effective the debased narcissists have become.

I get it. It's easy to appeal to a person's vanity. The problem is that a society that functions that way devours itself.

The 1950s did a good job of portraying an idealized version of manhood. Boy scout, Soldier, Cowboy, Father, Chivalrous. It was a good era. The, "no excuses" type of messaging builds strong people. I don't even know what to say about the modern interpretation of masculine other than, pathetic.

i read that as a teenager and liked it a bit. a few things i disagreed with (God is dangerous, etc.) but appreciated the sentiment. i need to reread it and see if it would be good to go through with them. it's been 20 years.

my oldest is reading this for school:

there's some overlap on a few things as far as we've become too easy on kids and lowered expectations.

i think my kid's school has had a bit of a course correction on some of this last year by putting some men in positions of leadership as opposed to 90% women lead. they put an army combat helicopter pilot in charge of all rhetoric and logic schools (HS and JH in a classical school.)

I don't recall anything being said about God being dangerous. They did refer to him multiple times as a warrior in a battle for our hearts though (references to William Wallace, Maximus Aurelius, etc.

I'll look into Do Hard Things..right now, we're reading Grit with our daughter (13 years old)

Where did this Tate guy come from? I feel like no one knew he existed, then one day his name started popping up everywhere.

Sounds like private schools can afford to do this and have plenty of financial backing to get it done.

This won't stop the overall Arch of society for 98% of kids who cannot afford anything outside of public school where this stuff is more rabid than ever. It starts with single motherhood and then get reinforced in the public school system.

I'm not interested in registering, organized "manhood" clubs is cringe IMO. Just curious where they operate and what the hell they do.

He also has a social media team that creates weird propaganda videos. He boasted in his tucker Carlson interview that they would turn off comments when people interview him because he gets so much support but whose to say it’s not his 20+ employees with 100s of different accounts.

yep. and then you get called the a-hole for saying "single motherhood isn't good" and not wanting to wholesale fund public education in its' current state.

Someone doesn't have a bugatti and is jelly. /sarcasm.

Tate is a huge POS and if the allegations are true should be put away forever.

At the very least Tate is a lesson in why you don't self-snitch. His videos are very damning, if he did what he claims in them.
