I wish some of these were sourced better, but you can take it fwiw.

1) What happened to mental hospitals?

2) The rise of negative media.

3) The aging population crisis. 70% of countries are below replacement.

4) The scale of pharmaceutical marketing.

5) The fentanyl/overdose epidemic.

6) The homeschooling boom.

7) India’s exploding economy. In 2023 India takes over as the most populous country in the world.

8) The scale of Saudi Aramco.

f you stopped most people in the street in the West, they would not know of Saudi Aramco.

In Q2 2022, it reported more net profit than Microsoft, Apple, Meta, and Tesla combined.

More at the LINK included a really cool, animated “rise of obesity” map that I couldn’t get to c/p.

Defunded and shifted to the for-profit private sector. The biggest need for them lies within a segment of society that simply cannot afford that option.

#1 = Penrose's Law

- first proposed by Sir Roger Penrose's father. Maybe the second smartest family ever behind the Wittgenstein's.

Our populace is dumb, fat and prioritizes celebrities and sports teams above taxes/debt/personal responsibility. And this is the way our government wants it.

We are past the rubicon and it will take a major event to change that.

It should be mental hospitals vs homeless population.

That’s where the mentally ill have gone, more so than prison, I’d think.

I think that's in Korea only, not worldwide.

Lies, damn lies and statistics. Has a Poli Sci class at LSU where a Professor did a semester on polling. He showed how he could totally flip results around via formulation of questions, skewing numbers and doing "comparison" charts like a lot of these. Made me realize you can't trust anything you read formulated by someone with an agenda.

As much as I love Reagan, his handling of the mental hospitals and dismantling of the mental hospitals was catastrophic and reprehensible.

Yes, these are some other country specific numbers.

You need a 2.1 fertility rate to maintain a population:
• US = 1.64
• Germany = 1.53
• Japan = 1.34
• China = 1.28
• Korea (image below) = 0.84

Why is MyPillow lumped in with pharmaceutical advertising? Take that out and Fox News is on par with the others.

Also, we need to get rid of for-profit prisons somehow. It's disgusting to see what we're doing to our own citizens for low-level offenses.

Was Reagan president in the 60’s and 70’s when the funding was nosediving?

Courts ruled that they couldn't be kept in institutions until mentally sound.

None of this is a surprise to anyone with common sense. Which as your charts show, we have less and less people with it.
