Expansion? No. Renovation and improvements? That I believe is under way for the entire stadium. But I don't think there are any plans on expanding the stadium again. There is zero need for it right now.

While I do not think there needs to be new seats, I would like to see some kind of structure added to the top of the existing NEZ to close the bowl and add symmetry to the stadium, sort of like how it looked pre 1978.

I'd say about 4500 psi.

It sucks arse when you go to a game and the seats are so close together even people who would be seen as avg size take up more than their assigned seat, much less when 50% of the people in the stadium are overweight

The average Jim-Bob's left arse cheek is on seat 33 and right as cheek is on 34.

Would be cool to see the suites connect all the way around.

No real need to expand. It used to be tough to get on the waiting list. They now are emailing every week with opportunities for season tickets.

If they do anything to TS, they need to update bathrooms and concessions. They can then maybe update the jumbotron over there. I am sure it is a great screen if 70% wasn't adds too...

What should happen is to tear down the west upper and add more club seating.

That would be the third "new" West Upper in 50 years. At least this time they could attempt to get the exterior façade to somewhat match the rest of the stadium/campus architecture.

When we took a tour of Tiger Stadium, the turf management guy said that they would likely not put an upper deck on the north side of the stadium because it would limit the amount of sunshine the turf would receive.
this makes zero sense. Any north end zone upper deck would throw shadows to the NORTH, away from the field, since the sun is in the southern part of the sky and doesn't even get directly overhead.

So this argument doesn't fly - it's simple geometry.

Don’t know what you can do honestly. The concourse on the east sidelines is basically a hallway with limited room to expand.

People will always complain about empty seats after half, not saying people aren’t coming or leaving. In my experience, the concession lines are horrible and slow. You could easily miss a quarter during big games waiting to get things.

Until we put competent people in charge of our roads, we need to not worry about anything else. In downtown Baton Rouge they fix pot holes by placing large metal plates over them. fricking idiotic dei hires.

I'd like to see them take the current stadium size and just make it a better experience - bigger, chairback seats, more clubs/alternative seating, etc - at the expense of some of the existing seating capacity. Taking it down to 100K isn't going to hurt the gameday atmosphere especially if it's full instead of 3/4 or 1/2 full. But also can't charge $300 a seat.

IMO, doing something with the PMac and upgrading Alex Box need to be the next Athletic department projects.

They could put a north stadium club that’s potentially expandable later… add seat backs in other areas to decrease capacity and keep the number around 105000 when it’s all said and done.

Agree. This could be done by making every seat have a chair back.

Capacity needs to be at 85,000

Upgrade the concourse, have a space to watch other games, have more of those alcohol lounges.

Concrete info: Using synthetic fiber will save the construction of the stadium cost, time, and labor by utilizing fiber-reinforced concrete in the upper-decks.

North Stadium road would not exist if they added an upper deck, and I don’t think we have the support to add another 15-20K seats right now.

I would like for them to put up the covered rafters like they have in stadiums in the Pac-12. Not for the noise, but to block out the sun some.
