They are really good but also increase their costs with claims.

We've had them 20 plus years. In the last year, we've had a $27k roof claim, and three $10k car claims. No increase (yet ). They are higher than other's but pay out well.

Spot on, Louisiana's only industry is suing for damages it would appear.

My insurance doubled when I moved in and has gone up again since. Seems like there’s so many ambulance chasers here, probably has a lot to do with. And the grand theft auto.

I have family that live in Lake Charles and I have never seen more attorneys in one area in my entire life.

National General.

Can’t say that I’ve heard of that company.

Did you check out Farm Bureau or State Farm?

All insurance companies are crooks but their rates aren’t bad.

Geico raised their price for me and went up to $347 for one policy with no accidents or tickets. I’m now with State Farm and it’s almost $200 cheaper

Same here. $2800 claim frick PROGRESSIVE ETA: piss on Jim Donelon, Insurance Commissioner for allowing it

I just filed a $2800 repair with Progressive about 2 months ago. They renewed my insurance this month at the same rate. I’m wondering if they just haven’t factored in the accident yet. I sure as hell am not about to call and ask.

ETA: it was my first claim in 4 years with Progressive. I live in Texas where it reduced by half when I moved from LA.

I also was with National General before that and Nat Gen were that would insure after I came out of a very bad situation. They were expensive as hell but Ai deserved it at the time.

frickers dropped me like a cheating girlfriend after 25 years of business, including mortgages, life insurance, home owners, banking, and investments.

This was after my kids had some wrecks.
