Floyd could slip into the 1st round, if he is willing to sign under slot. Braves would be a team to watch.

If Taylor doesn't get picked in the first few rounds it is because he told teams he is coming back to LSU.
I’d be very surprised to see Grant Taylor get drafted in the 2nd round. But then again, I’m

very far off on Taylor, and the MLB draft.

Good for him though, he deserves it

Not surprising given how much they had a narrative to pump him up almost every time Skenes and Crews were talked about, even when LSU wasn’t playing UF.

Oh wait. Now you like LSU?

Man, that is such an oxymoron that I think tRant fits in that category.

Where did you see that? Who said he would be drafted at all? Where is this information?

i think i have better odds of hitting the lotto, but i hope one of them slips to the rangers. They are building something and would be great to get another tiger on board. Picking the best HS prospect at 4 doesn't hurt either.

As I found out many years ago being in the same division as the Cards. It’ll be September before we know if they are worth a crap.

Also are y’all being sarcastic about Little? I love his enthusiasm and hip-thrusting skills but he’s not even a D1 quality pitcher.

Little has tremendous potential. If he can gain control his stuff will work in mlb. Another guy with a lot of unrealized potential is Jordan Thompson. He is an erratic fielder and had an unimpressive OBP, but his arm strength is elite, he has good range, and he has natural power at the plate.

I’m making no predictions on their future, but both of these guys are legit prospects.

Most of us would never know we were ignorant if we didn’t habituate the Rant.

Thompson has showed a good bit of that potential in the field - he made some MLB-level highlight plays this year. If he can become more consistent on the routine plays he can be an elite pro SS.

I don’t remember seeing a single AB let alone outing from Little that made him look like a pro prospect. Like I said I appreciate him being such a team guy and staying engaged, but Chase Costello level this year.

Thompson does not have natural power. He has a small frame and is natural pull hitter who strikes out at the same rate as a power hitter.

Agreed. The thing that’s so frustrating about him is that you hold your breath on weak grounders right to him, but there are times when a ball is scorched so far in the hole you’ve already conceded a hit and then he somehow gets it and frozen ropes it to first.

18 or 20 is a little later than 15. Dugas and money might go undrafted. Jobert may or may not.

Milazzo will get drafted. Cooper will get drafted. Travinski may also get drafted.

This didn't age well. Lmao

Bump.

How did we do?

My projections:
quote:

Crews and Skenes go in the top 3 picks of course.
duh, we all got the easy ones.

quote:

Tre and Grant Taylor in the 3rd

Nailed Tre, but Taylor went at 51 overall

quote:

Christian Little goes somewhere after round 10

Not close enough. Dude went in 19

quote:

Jordan Thompson around 13

Went at 15

quote:

Garrett Edwards after JT maybe round 15

Missed. Went at 11

I totally overlooked Floyd for some reason, totally underestimated Dugas, Money, Jobert, Cooper, and Coleman.

Thank God for the day job.
