Meta / Mark Zuckerberg's Twitter competitor "Threads" has officially launched

Meta has released Threads, its standalone Twitter competitor that is based on Instagram’s account system. According to the head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, Twitter’s “volatility” and “unpredictability” under Musk have provided the opening to compete.
Looks like Meta and Facebook have been working behind the scenes for months getting influencers, celebrities, and companies on the app for launch. A ton of major brands and people already with active accounts and posting.

I downloaded out of curiosity. Seems like the app runs on the same platform vine did. It feels the same in its layout just without videos.
