But according to a source familiar with the matter, Trump was not charged with unlawfully holding onto the Iran-related document discussed in the recording.
Smith's 37-count indictment against Trump includes 31 charges of willfully retaining national defense information. It generally outlines each of the 31 classified records that prosecutors allege Trump illegally kept, without naming the exact subject matter. The Iran memo is not part of the list of the 31 records in the indictment, the source said.

Womp womp womp...the recording is a nothing burger
Sorry to all of the lefties and Ronbots that teamed up to celebrate the recording

Even if it was it's still a nothing burger.
They're just trying to throw down tire spikes at Trump. They know they can't stop him so they're trying to slow him down.
Good luck with that.

So the only "plans" they could find really were golf course plans
Lulz
But Trump cant beat Biden next go around. The DIMs sure are grasping at straws for that to be true (or they know they cant cheat enough to win without getting caught this time)

But wait one damned minute! 94LSU has been spamming the board with commentary about Trump shaking super sensitive Iran war plans around recklessly in front of homeless tweakers out in Times Square and bragging about not declassifying them, so SURELY these documents were among the documents he took with him when leaving the white house, right?!?! They would HAVE to be, right??!? This is their entire case!? right?!?!
Right?!?!?
Right?!?!?

It’s the Russian collusion playbook all over again…
Posted on 6/28/23 at 7:56 am to stout
I'm willing to bet he didn't have any military classified. What he had was documents about the Russian collusion hoax, the Bidens, the Clintons, the doj, the fbi and Lisa Monaco just like Devin Nunes and Kash Patel said. Documents he declassified and was in the process of making public. That is why the main DC office didn't want the Miami office handling it.

The bombshell audio is nothing more than a snap-n-pop.

If the people in the room testify that it was an actual secret document, then the disposition of the secret military document is a problem for Trump. That the document has disappeared after witnesses have seen it and it was discussed on tape is not good for Trump.

When all said and done more than likely the same ol much ado about nothing.
These efforts have continually proven to be coordinated exercises to distract, tie Trump hands somewhat to the extent they are able to do so and publicly drag his name through the mud in order to guide public opinion.
If they could actually be fortunate enough to make something stick and put him away, all the better for them.

On July 15, 2021 the New Yorker came out with a hit piece with General Milley blaming Trump for wanting to attack Iran: “You’re Gonna Have a fricking War”: Mark Milley’s Fight to Stop Trump from Striking Iran
Shortly after the New Yorker release the hit piece on Trump he was taped by writers doing research for Mark Meadows book deal.
Obviously Trump is defensive of the New Yorker hit piece.
So when Trump says to the writer, "let me see that" did the writers have the classified documents and he was asking to see it?
Then when talking about the document apparently Trump feels the document discredits the New Yorker hit piece. Then he goes on to say that the document is classified.
Did General Milley provide a classified documents to the writers?

Could it be there was nothing ever to it and trump was just baiting them over and over for the largest amounts of nothing burgers ever?

Maybe that's why the Feds included all the evidence demonstrating Trump's efforts to hide the documents they wanted back?
Not being able to locate that document and it still being missing while having a tape of Trump saying he has it actually strengthens their case, not weaken it.

Two things here.
1) The recording will be used to show Trump's state of mind, i.e.,that he knew he was in possession of sensitive documents and willfully refused to return them; and
2). The reason the documents are not part of the indictment is because Trump's attorneys couldn't find them. That is bad news for Trump, because the jury will be allowed to draw whatever inference they want from the lack of documents.

I have repeated this over and over..... Step back and look at all the deep state has thrown at Trump. Making up lies at the highest levels of federal government and federal law enforcement agencies to try and stop him, and all have failed.
Make fun of me if you want, but this looks like good vs evil and good keeps winning. Imagine the entire weight of the most powerful institutions ruling this country have tried to crush Trump under their weight and power, yet he remains standing. The fact he remains is quite unbelievable. What are the odds anyone could remain standing after even one clash with the federal big state much less several??????
TDS sufferers, open your eyes and step back. If Trump is so awful and corrupt why can't the mighty powers that be, the highly advanced and well trained federal police still can't make anything stick?
Is Trump smart enough to get away with it or is it something else? To overcome the multipole targeting by the big state, even if innocent, seems a longshot.

He was only charged for each documents they found when they searched in 2022. The recording was from 2021. The recording shows that he knew he had national security documents that were top secret classified and was showing them off to impress people.

I've been assured that this is the prosecution's attempt to frame some issue. What issue that is, or how this accomplishes that goal, I couldn't begin to tell you.

What these morons fail to understand is that the person we elect to stand between us and their "secret plans" is the guy they're trying to say is a traitor. A traitor to who, I'd like to know.
