Did the Zoo/Aquarium let the political opponents of his buddy campaign there?
If so, why should an obviously politically motivated entity get state funds? Desantis has been openly against this

Additionally, think about all of the people you deal with and see working in a dealership when you buy a car. They would virtually all be out of a job if the other manufacturers went to the Tesla method.

I was one downvoted to shreds for calling him a dictator. Good to see a few people start to open their eyes a bit.
Most people here in Florida are very aware of his game. Anyone who speaks out against him in any way, it's only a matter of time before he starts messing with them.

JSO gets state funds, and their 7 months of silence regarding Kent Stermon feels incredibly politically motivated

I don't necessarily think this is a good thing but it's a very common thing and it's only getting attention here because it's DeSantis. Every state, including red ones in the South, have long histories of protecting "vulnerable" industries. Pretty much any and all distribution channels, for example.
Anyway, DeSantis isn't a libertarian. He's shown time and time again he'll prioritize Florida's long term success over its mere growth. Which includes running afoul of religious like adherence to free markets if it keeps bad ideas and people with bad ideas from taking root in Florida. Good for him.

Republicans are just as corrupt and full of shite as democrats. Maybe one day some of you will wake up.

you know damn well he will go out of his way to punish people and companies that disagree with him. He is vindictive as hell.
And Biden is somehow better with this? Gavin Newsome? At least if he was vindictive to companies that disagree with them, it's not me or mine for once.

We have no good option. Let this sink in, one of Biden, Trump or Desantis is going to be our next president.
Fortunately we have checks on presidential stupidity although we can expect the worst.

Imagine looking at Florida and thinking its executive is a "bad option"

Desantis is still a good option, this is just a shitty signing he has. Nobody at that level of politics is a choir boy or girl.

You're right, I'm sure Disney and others pushing "Don't say Gay" was completely not personal at all.

I wish more folks would realize this. They’re all pandering Kool-aide salesman, just a different flavor.

So go to Alabama or Georgia to buy whatever EV you want.
