Look at the forecast another 4 hour delay headed our way today. I’m going to the game and had a long day at the park yesterday the NCAA should not get to control this.

Would you rather them set a start time of 5pm and then the rain doesnt show up till 4pm?

You give yourself the biggest window to play in

you have to set a game time so people with tickets know when to go.

I would assume they will be looking at radar before the game starts and will make adjustments assuming the predictions are accurate. It wouldn't surprise me if they change the start time before 1 pm based on the current weather forecast, but we will see.

I'm going to be in BR today while wife takes a test.
Considering going but the weather last two days has me thinking I'm better off streaming from my phone in the parking lot or Walkons

You can't trust these weather apps. Probably won't even rain.

Totally agree with this which is why they should've started at 11am, unless there is some sort of rest rule in place due to the late game yesterday.

They aren't.

They set the times for their pre-approved tv windows.

It's why we started both Saturday and Sunday later than we should have.

Oregon State game finished past midnight last night. I don't know the specific rule, but I'm fairly certain there needs to be X amount of hours for a team to rest into the next day of games. Really wouldn't be fair to make them play two late games and then an early morning game on little sleep. We still have Tuesday to get 1-2 games in.

Too bad for them. They should have won Game 4 if they don’t like it.

Why not start at 7am? OSU could have just slept in dugout after 18 hour day and 12:30am ending of previous game.

You’re not going to start at game at 9am when one team was playing until after midnight. I’m pretty sure there is a guideline for allowing at least 12 hours of rest. Which is why the start time for today wasn’t announced until they had a good idea about what time last nights game was going to end.

Some people are so fricking clueless about events like this and managing the weather

It’s so easy for y’all to sit behind your screens and say ‘woulda, coulda, shoulda’, but there’s a lot more to this shite than just being an average joe, looking at some free online weather radar, and making split second decisions.

Y’all are crazy, and y’all are too ate up with this shite. Sometimes it’s out of your hands so you have to let the people in charge make the call.

Relax people, holy shite
